Amaxx is the perfect family hair salon! The stylists know how to cut women’s, men’s, and children’s hair; our entire family has been coming here since 2006. From the time our granddaughter was two years old, Amaxx has been our salon. Even my husband got his hair cut by Alicia and he never went back to a barbershop again! In addition to cuts, Amaxx also offers facials and facial waxing.

SO DISAPPOINTED!…I called in for my daughter to get a price for a perm. They said they could not give me a price until they seen my daughters hair. She said we needed a 50$ down payment and it would go towards the perm. When we arrived this morning they looked at my daughters hair and said it was going to be 350$ and it would take 5 hours and the perm would last 6 months to a year. I asked if they colored hair and she said yes if I wanted to color it today I said no I was just looking around. She said well we don’t have anything open today anyways. I told my daughter to hold off as I went to my car to see if I could find something cheaper. My daughter comes out to tell me they spoke to their supervisor and they can do it for 265$ plus the $50 which comes up to 335$…We decided to find something cheaper and some where more friendly. They would not give us our deposit back and we had to buy some of their products since we would not use the deposit as a credit towards any hair service. I have never experienced anything like this before and will never go back. Please do not try to explain why you treat new customers this way or why you do business in this manner. There is no excuse. My daughter and I were really excited for today and your poor service just ruined our day!!!

I went in for a haircut and came out with my hair being botched up!!!! I did not realize until after I left the salon since my hair was still wet. I will NEVER come back. I will tell all my friends and family to NEVER come here again. Prior to this unfortunate incident I heard such great things about the owner so I decided to check them out…. worst mistake ever. I had to go to my regular hairstylist and beg her to squeeze me in before I left for work or else I would NOT have left. Her mistake ended up costing me an extra $80!!!!!

She was the best! She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. I have naturally curly hair and she knew exactly what to do with my kind of hair. She was very professional. I love my cut and she went the extra mile to blow dry my hair straight. I have never had my hair look so good as she did. She took her time and made my hair come out perfect! I absolutely loved it! Thank you so much Itzel!! You are truly the best hair stylist I have ever had! I will definitely go back to her. The salon is very neat and clean and everyone was so friendly and very nice to me. I have naturally curly hair and she knew exactly what to do with my kind of hair. She was very professional. I love my cut and she went the extra mile to blow dry my hair straight. Came here after searching salon on google and in so glad I did!! Itzel was my hair dresser and she did exactly what I wanted! I showed her a video and she took her time to achieve the look I was going for. When she was done cutting, she asked me if I knew how to style it the way I was looking for to ensure I would get that look! I’ve never had that before and truly appreciated it. I would definitely come back and recommend to my friends! Friendly and affordable!
