Got my hair cut and dyed on Saturday – loved the color and the cut was super cute but when I got back home I realized that the back was SUPER uneven. I want to add that I have gone to get my hair done many times before and had no problem. I called to get it taken care of and they only had something a week out. I get mistakes happen but for what you’re paying it should be done the first time/ make it a priority if it needs to be fixed.

I got my hair done here 3 days ago and it was horrible. The blending was so bad it’s embarrassing. I paid $200 for a balayage and this is what I got. The photos don’t do it justice. I have tons of straight lines across my hair where the blonde wasn’t blended. I told her that I wanted my roots one inch from the blonde. It’s 2-3 inches from my root depending where you look. I have been to hair schools and paid $60 to a student that has done my hair better than this. Definitely will not be going here for my hair again. I’m very disappointed.

I will always choose Amara. I get my regular waxing done by Tessa and she is the kindest, most skilled, attentive to detail esthetician out there. She is so so good at what she does, and she treats you with respect as an individual and not just a quick client. Highly recommend her. Camarie is also a great option! For hair, I see Chelsea and she is great at what she does and has awesome ideas. Plus, I love that they offer you a drink when you walk in. The facility is always clean and pristine. The prices are higher than other salons, but you are paying for a high quality experience.
