As an out of state bride, I contacted Alyssa’s Salon to do my wedding hairstyle. Correspondence with the salon and stylist were great and I couldn’t wait to come in and get my hair done for my big day. However, when I left Alyssa’s Salon, I had to go to the Don Cesar salon to get my hair completely redone! Hair extensions were lifting off my head and showing through my hair, and bobby-pins were not secure and popping out (I wish I took photos!! But I was too upset)! I didn’t even bother going back to Alyssa’s Salon because I didn’t want further disappointment in something I could tell they were not confident in to begin with. The Don Cesar Salon was completely booked but after getting one look at my hair they squeezed me right in because it was such unacceptable hair for a bride. Alyssa’s Salon charged me way more than the Don Cesar (and the Don charged me full price because my hair had to be completely redone, on top of moving around their already scheduled appointments for me – and it was still cheaper!!). The salon was overall nice, but I do not think they should take on clients, especially a bride, when they aren’t experienced in doing so. Especially since conversations leading up to the appointment made me believe this would be a great experience with a stylist seasoned in bridal hair, which was far from true. Disappointing.

I come to FL every summer for vacation, and this year I decided to get my hair cut at Alyssa’s Salon because I have never been satisfied with any of my hairdressers in NC. I’ve had very long hair all my life and had decided to get it cut shorter, so I was very nervous. All of my nervousness went away as soon as I walked into the salon. Alyssa and Brittany (the one who cut my hair) were very welcoming and friendly. I told Brittany what I was wanting and she gave some suggestions about length and highlights, which were very helpful. Brittany cut, layered, and put a few high and low lights into my hair. I am in love with the results! Thank you Brittany!! Before and after pictures below.

Just had a friggin amazing haircut with Todd. He did an AMAZING job. He listened to everything I said, and he cut my hair exactly how I asked. He kept checking in with me to ask intelligent and thoughtful questions about what I liked and what he recommended. And the end result is that my hair looks amazing and I feel like a goddess. I have longish curly/wavy hair and have not had a good haircut experience for the last three years in the SPB area. He knows his stuff, and I almost can’t wait for the next haircut!! I am so happy I tried Alyssa’s Salon and found Todd. Thank you Todd!!

I highly recommend Alyssa’s Salon. Dina colored and cut my long hair and I was so happy with it. She was so friendly and easy to get to know. I found this salon by looking at reviews. Everyone there is friendly. It is a family owned business and it shows in how much they care about their clients. Also, very reasonable. You will love it!

Since I moved to the Tampa/St. Pete area Lynda Scillitani has been doing my hair. I am very picky about who cuts and colors my hair. Lynda Is AMAZING!!!! I tell her what I’m thinking I want to do and she always comes through bigger and better then what I expect! She has done great length extensions in my hair Twice now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my extensions!! I love going to Alyssa’s! Alyssa is super nice and they always make me feel like family there! You will not be disappointed coming here!
