Stina at Aways Right is the best barber I have ever used. She does the best bald fades and razor shaves and has a wonderful personality. Absolutely the best haircut I’ve ever had. Stina is a smart, practical, no-nonsense person with a flair for understanding different types of hair and what will look best with each. I wanted to get a haircut while I was on vacation at the beach and I wish I could visit her more regularly! I showed her a couple pictures of an actor in a TV show whose haircut I loved and she made the look work even though I have pretty different hair from him. I’m used to going to barbers who don’t always understand what to do with my thick Hispanic hair and getting haircuts that look weird after a week or so. Now I have a haircut that I’ve already gotten compliments on from multiple people and I feel like will make me look good In any professional or social situation. Best fade too! And the shampoo and hot scented towel were divine

Stina at Always Right has some of the best barbering and beard skills that I know of. The environment is fun, relaxing, and professional. She understands extremely well and can give you the exact hair cut that you are describing and asking for. If you need any opinions on what you think would or wouldn’t work she is able to outline a picture in your head of what the haircut, beard shape, etc. would look like. Personally I have only ever gotten fades and bread trims/shape ups, and I have only ever been extremely satisfied with the results. She can connect with you on a personal level and gives great conversations, you aren’t just sitting there awkwardly for however long your hair cut takes waiting for it to be done, like you might do at other locations. I give Stina a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone who is new to the location or if you are simply looking for a new barber. She will do an exceptional job!

Why you should get a straight razor shave from Stina… It had been a few years since I had a straight razor shave from a barber. I found Stina a few months back and was so happy with my hair cut I decided to return and added a shave, since it was my birthday. It was the BEST shave I’ve ever had!Stina took her time to prepare my beard and I got the WORKS! Hot towels, carefully placed, electric shave-down, steam from a humidifier the likes of which I’d never seen, lightly scented oils. This wasn’t just a shave, it was a SPA! Stina took her time, and as a retiree, I HAD the time. She was thorough and precise with the straight razor. No nicks, no razor burn, and in the end, no whiskers. I did not want to get up from the chair because in the end, it was as therapeutic as a massage. This was a special treat and I will definitely do it again sometime. I left with an awesome shave, haircut and attitude. Stina EXCEEDED my expectations once again! Brava Stina!
