This is my second time going to Alvin’s, I don’t get my nails done much, but it’s never a disappointment when I go to Alvin’s Salon. Customer service is amazing, they always do their best to meet your needs and that is exactly what I received once again. I recommend this place to anyone who wants nails, or toes done. Alvin’s nails was the worst nail salon I’ve ever gone to in my entire life had my nails done on Thursday by Friday my whole right hand had broken off went back Monday to have my set redone here we are Tuesday too on my right hand have already broken off I strongly advise to anyone to not go to the shop their nails are horrible Acrylic nails

Originally I had given this place a 5 star review. 7 months ago . But after my last experience I give it a 1 . I took my 11 year old to have her nails done and I’d figure I’ll do my as well. I got a full set and pedi. And my daughter a full set. I make sure to ask for prices ahead so I’m prepared for it. They said 45$ for full set with gel . I thought it was a decent price. Till she began to tack on 5$ after $5 . She said the length I wanted wich was medium was 5$ more she had already glued the nails and began to cut and shape them. She asked me what shape I said coffin she said an additional 5$ which I thought it was strange to charge for a shape . She then ask me if I wanted thick or thin acrylic I said what ever is normal. I caught on to what she was doing. Tacking on 5$ after 5$. They were working on my pedi and nails at the same time and they were working very rushed despite it being empty. I was not happy with the rushed pedi it turn out lumpy and was not worth 45$. The nail tech that was working on my nails was rude. As I explained what I wanted she didn’t even let me finish my sentence and would interrupt me by saying yeah, yeah,yeah. She didn’t care. My daughters Nails were simple short and square. But as I was calculating the amount; her nail tech came to me and said my daughter asked for coffin shape . Which my daughter said she didn’t . they did not look coffin shape. So I got in to a back and forth discussion with the lady. She didn’t even do a good job . I was very disappointed in the way they take advantage of people here. I don’t recommend this place at all.

At the beginning it was very good experience I think it was Alvin the did my pedicure but the las 2 times hasn’t been the same first they put the color the I don’t chose en the lady wasn’t nice I chose my color and she said that’s to pale then I chose another one but I and up with Brite florescent pink and I asked her wat about change the color she said the will be 30 dls and I when back they church me manicure and pedicure is gel and I have regular nail polish.
