I love this place. I always go to Irina. After the first haircut, about three years ago, my wife does not let me go anywhere else. Irina is very busy but she would always accommodate. Fantastic barbershop, masterful barbers. They consistently do my hair exactly how I want it, and in the couple years that I have been coming here, not once did I leave the barbershop dissatisfied with my cut. Not only that, but their pricing is fantastic. You could get a great haircut for just 25 dollars, not including tip. Highly recommend!!

It wasn’t a terrible haircut but it wasn’t very good either, especially for $25. I was asked what I wanted and was very specific. The woman performing cut didn’t really follow my request and went through the haircut extremely quickly. I noticed the next day that the sides were a little uneven and had to correct them with the help of a friend.

I’ve tried a few barbershops in Boston, but I settled on Alton as my fav. Mainly, for their friendliness and affordable rates ($25 for a men’s cut). I don’t go for anything crazy for a cut. If you’re very picky, maybe try a few places including this one before you settle. Also, they don’t take card so remember to bring cash.
