I used to go to the salon when Stacey D worked there. Well I had no idea that she parted ways with them, so when I called to set up and appointment last week, the receptionist was extremely rude to me. When i called and stated I would like my hair done, she seemed annoyed and when I stated I would like to see Stacy, she very rudely said she no longer works there, I was stunned to say the least. I asked about Nicole, bc I am pretty picky on who does my hair. She stated Nicole only worked Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday. The lady that answered seemed very annoyed and could care less. Basically told me good luck at finding anyone.

I have had multiple problems now, the first to begin was I came in to get my hair toned, and left with it darker. So I assumed that “toning” was similar to dying it, I scheduled another appointment where I would have it dyed. This went okay and once I faded I went in for a temporary dye and it ended up being permanent. I then scheduled a permanent dye on the phone and left with it being temporary. They can be hard to get ahold of on the phone, the girls are all nice but apparently communication isn’t well because whoever schedules the appointments doesn’t make it exactly clear to the hair stylist what you want. I now have to go back in just to keep up on my hair and it’s only been a couple of weeks when I was hoping to wait atleast a month before it faded. Somehow always have to come back to get something fixed from the last time.

Today was my first experience at Alpine Hair & Day Spa, and their service did not disappoint! I found them on Google and decided to try them out, although I was a bit leery because my last salon experience at another salon across town wasn’t so stellar, but with the great reviews I saw online, I decided to go in for a haircut anyway. Once I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Heather at the front desk, and she promptly let my stylist know I had arrived. I had the pleasure to work with Nicole, and I cannot recommend her enough! She actively listened to my preferences, and asked questions to ensure we were on the same page with my hair goals. Nicole had extra time to do color for me as well today, so I decided to go for it. She kept me in the loop each step of the way so that I knew what processes were being used on my hair. Once I came back from the wash and saw the final product, I was elated to see that it was exactly what I wanted, and more! I have lived in the Comstock Park area for five years, and have had a terrible time finding the perfect salon. From my experience today, I think my search is finally over. Thank you, Nicole!♡

Went in for a massage so that is all I can review about, but Kathy was phenomenal! Talked through the different pain areas and worked on everything! Very friendly and easy to get along with. People at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant as well! Highly reccomend and will be back again! The entire place was very clean and well kept!
