I called on my last day visiting with no expectations of getting seen. Sonny saw me that same afternoon and was incredibly friendly and just an awesome guy. He worked with me on the design and did solid line work and shading. He made the whole experience as easy as possible. His place is clean and sterile, overall a really comfortable experience.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueCame in from Santa Cruz after calling all over the island before I went to the island. I have several tattoos and tattoo artist in Santa Cruz who helped me narrow it down to Sonny. His personality is just so easy knowledgeable about the trade. He didn’t have to impress me because his easy confidence in the questions he asked to really understand what I wanted were perfectly laid out. I felt heard, understood, validated by his questions I knew I couldn’t wait to meet him in person. Once I got on island i met up with him at the restaurant next to his shop which was amazing because those were his in laws. Can’t get more island than that with ohana stuff. I came to spend money on a tattoo and he delivered more than I expected at a price I was comfortable with. The piece came out just better than I hoped because he got to know me to understand the significance behind it. He is a true artist, wonderful musician and gushed about his wife which I found adorable. I got the whole island experience I was looking for. Turns out his sister in law lives in Santa Cruz what a small world. Came in from Santa Cruz after calling all over the island before I went to the island. I have several tattoos and tattoo artist in Santa Cruz who helped me narrow it down to Sonny. His personality is just so easy knowledgeable about the trade.
