Dr. Ly worked me into her schedule within hours. Check-in is painless. My wait was brief. Her questions and exam were direct and led quickly to diagnosis. She stayed with me as long as needed to answer my questions. Checkout was immediate. Great experience.

My son was covered with an itchy allergic reaction by age 6 mos. He cried every night trying to scratch his itchy body. My heart was breaking, I had to tie his hands in socks and pin them together to keep him from opening his skin on his face. The advice of my GP was to avoid certain foods and wait and see. While visiting a friend, they said go find a skin doctor, your GP isn’t acting fast enough. As his Godfather I can’t see him like this any more. The GP agreed to send us to Oahu to get him tested. The results from Queens in Oahu confirmed he was allergic to: nuts, eggs, latex, shrimp, cheese, milk, and fish, but what do you do about it? Eliminating those foods slowed the rate some, but it still kept spreading all over his body. All the GP visits and travel to Oahu took about 2 months while he got worse. I asked my doctor for a referral to see a specialist. I had no idea who Dr. Ly was, but I had to do something. We got an appointment in just a few days. When she saw him, after asking diagnostic questions, she diagnosed and recommended a prescription at the pharmacy. I got it that day and within 24 hours he was finally getting fewer not more bumps. He was still bleeding, but the cracks in his skin were shrinking. Within a week, 95% of the symptoms were gone. It took another month for the rest to be almost gone. I was not focused on my experience in the waiting room, nor did I care how busy or not busy Dr. Ly was. I do not care about the name of the office. I care that my son was saved and she was the ONLY person that knew what to do and knew it immediately, and with confidence. If you look at her reviews, you see a bunch of 5s and a few 1s. The 1s focus less on the accurate treatment they need and act like they are visiting a hotel. The first time we went it was busy. I didn’t care, because my son was saved. When we returned, few people were there. I didn’t care, because my son was saved. The first time, I overheard quite a few people cancel their appointments at the last second while we were waiting. I can’t imagine running a business where people cancel at the last minute and walk in without appointments whenever they please. I also find it very suspicious the 1s are new accounts and have one or two reviews… like a sabotage reviews. Weird stuff and not cool for the rest of us that need a good doctor. If you are trying to sabotage Dr. Ly, think about who you are hurting. aloha

My appointment was for consultation. Yes, I had a long wait, but when Dr. Ly came in and asked what I was there for, she was confused by my lack of clarity. Her confusion was apparent, but I wasn’t offended. I clarified my concerns about procedure and cost. Then Dr Ly offered to proceed immediately at a very reasonable cost. Throughout the procedure she would inquire about my comfort level, as well as engage in friendly conversation. I highly recommend Dr. Ly.

I had a great experience here! I came early and she took me right away, I also had to bring my kids and Dr. Ly was so sweet about it! She was quick and made me feel very comfortable with her! Highly recommend her.

This practice needs a new name, nothing Aloha about my experience. Doctor is rude, inconsiderate, makes you feel stupid for any questions, and always in a rush. Last time she misdiagnosed my problem and it has only gotten worse after applying the prescribed medicine. Finding a new doctor.

The third time I’ve been there. The first time was ok, at best. I agree with others, Dr. Ly is quite rude & short. But it’s the ridiculousness of the wait times that gets me. The next 2 times I was there, I walked out both times after waiting over an hour. We’re all busy people. Simply tell me you don’t have that time available and I am happy to schedule when there is an opening. I have no problem with a REASONABLE wait time, but over an hour is crazy. Yeah, Dr. Ly is fast, in and out. I expect that is because she knows what she’s doing. While I wanted to show her places on my legs, arms, and neck that were inflamed, she diagnosed me at a glance. While that was disappointing, I could have used a bit more compassionate attention, it appears that her diagnosis was accurate. I followed her directions and experienced very, very fast reversal of my problem.

Dr Ly was one of the worst doctors I’ve had the displeasure to have seen. Cold, aloof, impersonal and too busy to spend more than 30 seconds with me. And, of course, billed like she spent 1/2 hour with me. I would recommend you stay away from her.

I’d recommend her ten times out of ten. Totally worth the wait (never long) and she’s quick, thorough, and professional. People complaining it takes too long need to organize their day better (this isn’t fast food, its your health).

SO wish I would have checked Google Reviews before exposing my son to this woman. What a witch! All the reviews are exactly correct! Waiting forty minutes past my appointment time. She opened the door, scarcely said hello, looked at my son’s skin, put acid on his skin and walked out. I had to chase her around to ask her what to expect. My son’s skin blistered badly and he screamed in pain for hours. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else!
