Was there the day after Thanksgiving 2020. Lovely, well appointed place. Very nice people. Good social distancing, mask wearing, sanitation. The hour-long massage was very pleasant. The masseur was strong but not overly so. There was no focus on anything other than relaxation massage. It was not therapeutic massage.

First time going and will definitely be back. I did the crossroad package for a much needed long due spa day to destress and relax. First the vibe is just so calming and relaxing. The first service was a down south facial. Yall I had never had a facial before and boy was I missing out. That set the tone for the rest of the day. I had no idea that a facial could make you feel so euphoric, but I have to give props to Misty. She did an excellent job of explaining what she going to do before she did it and what the facial intellect. She also did my pedicure my Lord perfect. Afterwards had lunch in the tranquility room. And finished with the classic massage. If you need a overhaul on your body and a mental restart I will definitely suggest doing more than just a hour massage. Treat yourself you’ll be glad you did.

I experienced the best facial of my life. I use to be a member of “Burke Williams” when I lived in California but now I can’t let anyone but “Misty” perform my faciala. She suggested a hydro facial and I swear my skin never felt or looked cleaner ever. I went on a week day and literally felt like I had all the spa amenities to myself.

Rooms are extremely clean and service is fantastic; alcohol is available and they have a fantastic gift shop that carries everything from bath bombs to jewelry. If you’re staying at the hotel make sure you plan a spa day. You won’t be disappointed.

While The Alluvian Hotel and the Viking Cooking School were amazing, The Alluvian Spa I found somewhat lacking. The services offered were way overpriced and the massage I received was quite possibly the most disappointing massage I have ever received. The staff was friendly and and offered a discount because of my dissatisfaction.
