Jan was AMAZING! I went in unexpectedly knowing what I wanted was going to turn out GREAT! The times I’ve gone I preferred Jan to cut my hair but she was booked so I had another girl do it didn’t get her name all I asked for was a trim and for my hair to be parted down the middle with long length bangs that start from the bottom of my chin to reach to the length of my hair and showed her a picture she literally chopped blocked my hair and charged me $30 for really only doing that when I asked for a trim I said an inche exactly she did it like half an inch really didn’t cut anything off but my bangs I cried after my hair finally is growing back and she didn’t care to have a conversation with me but talk to everyone else who worked their and constantly answering her phone idk I wouldn’t go back their again I always had Alicia from (rodeo drive) do my hair she knew exactly how I wanted it and I always had a better experience with her, too bad she doesn’t do hair anymore. I just think honestly this salon is over hyped Jan does know what she’s doing especially when it comes to hair color but as for her workers not so much and even for the most simplest things.

I need someone that knows how to work with natural African American hair. Why was my hair so foreign to them?I paid, but I was not happy with the most simplest thing I wanted, my split ends cut. They were nice but when she was done she didn’t even put my two twist back tightly or cute. Hate to give such a low rating to such nice people but there it is.

Let me give an in depth explanation for this rating. This rating is on behalf of two women who did an amazing job. First I will state that I went in previously and had a HORRIBLE color done on my hair. It was blotchy, uneven, brassy, and just all around a HOT mess. I put my beautiful hair in what I believed were trusting hands, and I was completely let down. If I were at least offered my refund, this wouldn’t be posted, but because I wasn’t offered my refund from the person who did my hair, I was completely rubbed the wrong way, especially after informing them of how important my hair was to me, being that I am mixed and have a different hair texture.

We went in to get our hair done for a wedding, we went in at 9 a.m, we didn’t leave til 1 p.m. my hair started dropping and my curls started going down at least 10 minutes after I left and i went straight home and got ready. And it didn’t even come out the way I wanted it to.
