The environment of the salon is classy and the nail techs do a pretty decent job. Only giving 4 stars because sometimes you end up with someone kind of rude and/or some of the massage chairs barely work (yet some are fantastic)… So it can be a hit or miss but is mostly a great spot– the best on the East side of Bakersfield.

I made an appointment for 6pm for my friend and I to get pedicures, and I asked if the time was too late and the employee responded that it was not too late. We arrived on time and we both requested the regular pedicure for $36. My nail tech was in a hurry to get out of there. He immediately grabbed his drill and used it on my cuticle. He never took his time to push them back or clip them. He clipped my nails but never filed them to soften the edges. The massage was seconds long and the scrub was wiped on and rinsed off with cold water. Then he used the same dirty towel to wipe and dry my feet. Then when he was done painting my nails he never cleaned up the paint that was on my skin or unclipped cuticles. After he was all done he put all his implements back in the same drawer and never cleaned them. I wish I would have paid more attention to see if the implements were clean when he pulled them out. I think I have spent more time writing this review than he did on my pedicure. If you should go in for a pedicure just get the basic pedicure because that will be what you get anyway.

On 8-16 I called and made an appointment for 8-19 at 445pm for a classic manicure and pedicure. I arrive on time to be told he had no appointment for me (Red Flag #1). Next he asks me if I want to wait. I say how long? His thoughts race and says 15 minutes. There are 5 people at least ahead of me and stations are full (Red Flag #2). I deduced this is a walk-in salon and appointments are not a priority. Not a good first impression. I left and will not be returning.

I normally go to another nail salon but they were fully booked. I came here because of the rating was a 4.5 and decided to try something new. The salon is very beautiful and welcoming. I sat down to get my nails done and the attitude and friendliness of the staff is really amazing! I never had such welcoming attitude. It was really positive. I got a classic French tip full set and a pedicure.
