I can’t believe how shot my hair was cut when I physically showed the stylist how much I wanted cut. I asked for no more than 2 1/2 inches, ended up losing 5-6 inches.My hair was down to my butt and it’s now barely below my shoulders. I cried sitting in that chair. If I can take way stars, I would.

Loan (apologies if I misspelled the name) – you should listen what your client wants. I went to get a touch up and a cut. The touch up turned out to be 2 shades darker and half of the length through. I asked to limit the brushstroke to just an inch as needed. I got a reassurance that she knows what she is doing and she kept schleping through. She was done in 5 minutes and I ended up with an ugly color that absolutely doesn’t match the rest. Just before Christmas.

Like any hair stylist you have to get to know the one that cuts your hair. Loan is great. She is Professional, personable and always tries to go the extra mile for her customers. Gives a great shoulder massage 🙂 DON’T cancel an appointment with her and think you will get another right away. She books up fast.

I made an appointment here after seeing decent reviews about the stylists and the reasonable pricing on yelp and google and because it was very close to my workplace. I had my appointment here today and was greeted at the counter when I walked in. The woman who greeted me happened to be Tina, my stylist. I was asking for a very simple cut to just trim off the dead and dry ends of my hair and maybe take another 2-3 inches from there (just a blunt cut-no layers or crazy style). Tina washed my hair and then began cutting. During the consultation portion of the appointment I had requested that she check the length with me after the initial cut because sometimes once the hair is trimmed and I can see the length, I still want to take off another few inches. Tina cut, dried, and styled my hair (I was facing away from the mirror, so I couldn’t see the length) and then without giving me more than a moment to look at my hair, she said “I gave you some beach waves so you wouldn’t have to wash it or style it tomorrow” then promptly walked to the front of the salon. I had wanted a shorter cut and felt that even my dead and dry ends hadn’t even been completely cut off and my hair still felt rough (usually after a fresh cut my hair is smoother and lighter- it did NOT feel this way). I felt rushed and flustered so I went to the front and paid (the haircut was $50 plus a tip- almost $60) and left, feeling uncomfortable and unhappy. I recognize that I should have asked Tina to recut my hair, but having felt rushed by her, I was uncomfortable with that.

I showed them a picture as reference for what I wanted my hair to look like and explained how i wanted it to be cut. The woman who cut my hair took a quick glance, said how she was going to cut it, gave me a scalp massage, and led me to the hair washing area. She washed my hair and instantly began cutting it. First of all, cutting wet hair can be very damaging to the hair because wet hair is very fragile so this instantly made me feel hesitant. Secondly, I don’t understand how they are able to tell how the finished look will be by cutting wet hair. It seemed to me as if she was cutting aimlessly and repetitively using the same techniques around my head. The result of my hair didn’t look anything like the picture I showed her. The bottom layer was curved while the top layer was straight and seemed extremely blunt. The layers didn’t blend well. It wasn’t even at all. $50 down the drain. AVOID THIS PLACE. Let your hair grow out if you have to!

I had a very horrific experience, i happend to walk in to the salon without any appointment, the stylist Tina was available and without hesitation took me in, we discussed the style that would work well for me. ..i clearly told her that i wanted to the same length but a better style .
