I called early and was able to get an appointment before closing. We had two women’s cuts and each got our hair shampood and it was about an hour in and out. The employees were very nice and the price was so affordable. The space was open and the music wasn’t too loud, I was able to have a conversation during the whole appointment. I had a couple pictures for inspiration and the stylist confirmed everything with me before starting. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been here three times to get my hair dyed because my hair is curly and I would rather have had it professionally dyed, they didn’t go wrong in that department. I remember the first time I went i had a blowout, the second time I just wanted my hair out so I could style it at home, and yesterday I asked for it to be blow dried and straightened. Keep in mind I didn’t ask for a cut. I also was not asked if I wanted my hair cut, nor did the stylist tell me that she was going to start trimming my ends. In this situation, I am not the type of person to speak up about it. But the stylist had started straightening a section and then cutting, straightening a section and cutting. My question is why didn’t she just straighten it all and then cut it? Why didn’t she ask for my consent to cut my hair? It was left all choppy which I didn’t notice until I got home. I had to fix it so the cut was as straight as I could get it on my own, overall cutting at least four inches off of my hair that doesn’t grow as fast as I would like it to. My family’s money is not going to them ever again.

Very friendly staff, fair pricing, and very professional from my experience. I went to Tisha for a trim and an undercut. She was very friendly and fun, and her station was organized. This was my first time receiving an undercut, and while it’s not perfect (a little uneven if you ask me), it still exceeded my expectations. Great job!

Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismFirst time going to a salon, not happy with my experience here at all. I walked in, two employees looked at me then continued w/what they were doing so I sat down (I should have left than but I needed a trim bad), an older lady comes in right after me and is greeted within 2 seconds……. while getting my hair washed water/soap was splashing in my face, when she was blow drying and brushing my hair she was very rough (top of my head is still soar), she kept spraying product in my face when straightening my hair and lastly her station was DISGUSTING! Hair not only on the floor but all over her station, where she keeps her combs/scissors/razor, dust and hair everywhere. Definitely does not clean on the regular. Men, women and children…..if you want quality hair care at a reasonable price….Allure Hair Design is the place to go. Patti has been doing my hair for many, many years and I have never had a complaint. People always want to know where I have my hair done. The entire staff does an amazing job as well. Everyone is always friendly and will make you look and feel amazing. In my opinion, this is by far, the best hair salon in Southern MD.
