I have been visiting this salon for the past 13 years..it used to be above where it is now and before that it was on the side street near the local health food store. Situated in the small town of Rhinebeck NY , it’s my go to place for hair care. Its a small-town warm, and friendly place. I never felt rushed, and they have always taken the time to get everything just right. They have most of the Aveda products right there! They are clean and very professional. Well worth the price and definitely it’s a salon! Check it out but do call ahead of time!

Allure is a small, stylish, friendly place with top-notch stylists. Nanci has been highlighting my hair for years and has improved my once-dry brittle mane through her expertise and great Aveda products. The keratin treatment I received last summer was a real hair-saver.

Be sure to ask if they plan on doing a dry cut. I work in a lab and outside so my hair needs to be up. This disrupts the natural waves my hair has and I’m now stuck with a cut I truly loathe. I also had a terrible time just due to the fact I asked for a few inches off and wound up losing almost a foot (I had really long hair) in length. I can barely get my hair into a pony tail now after having it over halfway down my back. I will not be returning.

After many failed attempts at various salons, I finally found my ‘Salon Home’. The salon is an Aveda salon, which in itself is worth the $. The staff is wonderful from the reception area to the back sink. My personal experience was with Jewels, Nanci and Christen. They diagnosed my hairtastrophy and corrected all previous hair-roars. My hair is now healthy!!! I no longer have a broken mane!!! I would give them more than 5 stars if possible ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (Side note my hair was over processed at another salon with bleach. I had broken hair throughout my head and minuscule bangs from breakage. This was a situation that I thought was beyond repair… they truly did a remarkable job!!!) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!!!

They kept changing my appointment. I needed a cut and color and they separated the two appointments. I got the cut but it’s been weeks and I still don’t have the appointment for the color. Changed the appointment several times and did not bother to try to get me in sooner. Also changed stylist to try to get me in and they still canceled. I will not return.
