After living in Fort Worth for almost a year, I have finally found a Braider! I love Mercy!! She’s 100% professional, courteous, quick and fabulous. I recommend you come to this salon before you go to anywhere else. I am so pleased and satisfied at not only the service but the quality of braids I received. See for yourself! Not only are these the braids I requested but they are most definitely the braids that excelled my expectations.

Mercy is a very professional and courteous lady. am totally new to Fort Worth and this is my permanent home so finding a good braider is key and this Salon is the best choice I made! My first visit was great and I will definitely make it my hair place.

She is very quiet, however will engage in conversation. She is mostly focused on the job she is doing and getting the client in and out. I have been going to her for a year now and satisfied after each visit. She’s the only one there so no drama or gossiping going on, which I like. Yes there is at times some house cleaning that could take place after clients but there’s room for improvement. Prices are expensive to others but reasonable to me. She is always available when I need to get in/out. I would recommend others to her. Glad I found someone I feel comfortable with, there’s not too many.

This “salon” is a joke, if I could give it 0 stars I would! Got my nieces hair box braided and within two days they started falling out!! Lucky for us when we walked in to get it fixed they were open and there. Fast forward 2 weeks, over half of her hair has fallen out and we tried to walk in to get her hair fixed and the sign on the door clearly stated the shop should have been open but they were closed, so we went back the next day earlier in the day this time and the same thing happened. So we called the number on the door and no one answered. We went back the next day and SAME thing happened so I tried to call the number again, this time someone answered! I told her what was going on and she told me she’d have to check her books and call me back. Two days later and I hadn’t heard from her so I called her back and she says “oh yea I got busy. But I think I have a Tuesday appointment available but I’ll have to check and I’ll get back to you.” And she hung up. Again two days later she sent me a text that says “I have a Thursday appointment available at noon. I’ll let you know if anyone cancels before then.” Thursday at noon we pull into the salon with the salon being closed and locked and I call the lady and she says she’ll be there within 10 min, 30 min later she finally shows up! We get inside and and I ask her “so this is a redo service correct? Like no fee because it’s a redo.” She answers “that’s right.” So my niece sits down in her chair and the lady starts cutting my nieces hair and cut 4 or 5 braids out and then tells me AFTER she has cut these pieces out that there will be a ‘take down fee’ and then I asked her if she would just fix the ones that had fallen out but she said there would be a fee with that too because it had been over a week! And that they fell out because her hair is too short and too kinky. We left and we will not be going back and we urge anyone and everyone who’s thinking about going please do not go this place is a scam! Reading the reviews that have been left the good ones are from a year ago and obviously something has changed.

I have been getting my hair braided at Allis for 2+ years the compliments I receive every time I leave the shop are a result of good work gets notice . Mercy & the ladies here are passionate about their work , they are sweet & always welcoming to get you in & have you leaving with a smile. Only rude people who create problems at every braiding shop never seem to find a place with great service like I found at Allis because they’re always moving from one shop to another . Alli’s has become my home from being a regular customer & after many visits we’ve created a friendship . I hate that the pet shop next door have to spoil it for them because of how unkept the pet shop lady is. the ladies are doing an awesome job despite that challenge I wish them success! I would refer everyone one I know & don’t know in DFW to get their hair braided here you will be pleased.

I will not be returning here due to my braids being too tight. My scalp was swollen around my edges the next day from where a few of the braids were pulling. I contacted them about redoing a couple of the braids and they told me that because my hair was too kinky and my hair needed to be that tight otherwise my hair wouldn’t be as neat. I told her I was fine with still coming in and having them loosened. The next day when I contacted her, she wouldn’t give me a definite time to come in. I just told her to forget about it. I won’t come back here.

Shes very fast at what she does, literally has you in and out of there. Braids are neat and tight she def. knows what she is doing but she doesnt talk much [most stylist engage and interact with their clients] her shop is kind of messy and i was a little upset she only had 3 selections for hair color [since the hair is included in price] her portfolio is all over the place [not organized much] and pretty expensive for some simple styles. overall i would recommend her based off of talent.

No one was able to grip my hair until I came to allis I cut my hair off due to bad damage && she was able to get the job done. A bit more than what I’ve paid before but very well worth it I love my braids.

They rushed through my hair they are not twisted to the end and some of them are loose and choppy. They are not worth 175 if my hair is coming out the twists and my roots aren’t tight in the back. Waste of money, worse experience I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy.
