Took some time to get an appointment with Alex, but absolutely worth the wait. The guy is a real artist, but has also created a great environment in his shop. This was my first tattoo and he was really good about explaining everything and I was comfortable from the beginning. If I get any more tattoos, I will definitely be back.

At the ripe old age of 32 I finally decided to get my first tattoo. I had all kinds of friends tell me who to see and where to go. Alex was super knowledgeable and friendly. He went over the process with me several times, and was very flexible with his scheduling. He also went over design, placement, and even redid the placement after we looked in the mirror to find where it looked best. I loved the feel and atmosphere of the shop, some other artist were there working on their own project and sharpening their craft. All of them were super friendly and chatted with me while I sat there and got my tattoo. During the tattooing process Alex let me know what portions of the tattoo he was working, and was finished before I knew it. After we got a look in the mirror at the finished product he went over the proper treatment for a tattoo to heal nicely. I am already planning to return for my next tattoo as soon as I have the time. I would 100% recommend Alliance Tattoo to my friends and family.

Alex did a tattoo of mine a long time ago and to this day it’s one of my favorites. BUT I will say I reached out to the shop and spoke to them about getting another tattoo, I let them know what I was wanting and then I stopped getting any response. It was very disappointing and seemed like they didn’t care to do my tattoo. So I’m looking elsewhere but it doesn’t take away from how talented of an artist Alex is.
