I am 8 1/2 pregnant and my feet are so swollen so I can’t even go back to get my hair fixed the correct way by the owner of the salon. I am so heartbroken by this experience and the immaturity of the women who braided the back of my head.. from complaining about braiding my hair, to talking and laughing loud in my ears the ENTIRE appointment, to braiding that back of my hair like a toddler would do a doll just parting my hair carelessly and did ANYTHING to the back of my head for HOURS. To the icing on the cake .. turning my chair at the end of my appointment towards the other braiders who proceeded to laugh while she sprayed oil sheen on my head. I knew something was wrong but couldn’t see it..When I got home my sister took pictures of the back and brought it to my attention. It’s a slap in the face to pay $240 ($220 on the style + $20 tip). I pray God have mercy on her… it’s so wrong what she’s done. The owner did offer to fix my hair the next day but has failed to acknowledge her staff member’s negligence. It’s okay though.. God don’t bless a mess. I wouldn’t recommend this braiding studio. I get my hair done a lot and I like to support black business but this is the biggest disappointment. I was there from 9:30 am to 5 something…The lady who did the front of my head did a beautiful job. The lady who did the back PURPOSEFULLY did it any kind of way. I could’ve spent my money with a better salon with integrity but I will NEVER EVER be back again.

I have been coming to this Salon for years. I am a cancer patient and the women in this salon has my hair growing back healthy and strong. I always have a friendly welcome and can converse with everyone about everyday life. I come every 2 to 3 months and everytime it is a wonderful experience. The stylist did a great job braiding my hair, and it looked good. I only kept it up 2 weeks due to it being so tight. By the time I took the braids out, my edges were gone on the right side of my head. The service is good and the price was decent, but I don’t think it was worth me losing my edges. Now in the spot where there is no hair, it’s hard to cover up or even get more braids. And it’s very noticeable. For that, I will no longer use that service for braids or any other style.
