Dr. Jenkins, quite literally, did nothing for me. He spent maybe three minutes in the room, only to fob me off to another dermatologist. I could have done that myself. He didn’t even humor me by going over my medical history. I left feeling robbed of my valuable time and money. I do not recommend this practice.

I am a boarding student and as my first two times so far getting an allergy shot from the place has been fine but the staff who have given me my shot seem to have a hard time communicating with me in a positive way. I’m from out of state and the CMAs’ at my home allergy don’t speak so negatively when the patient is in confusion about what to do. The main thing is positive communication has a more positive review and thought about the doctors from the patient.

Physicians are knowledgeable and helpful. The only reason the practice is receiving 3 stars is poor patient interaction, professionalism, and basic customer service for the CMA that gave my child their allergy shot. I’m a pharmacist in a hospital and if I spoke to or interacted with patients in such a condescending manner with attitude I would most certainly be fired.

If there was an option to give less than one star then it would be 0 stars. The receptionist was the most pleasant part of the visit. We went with concerns about a possible gluten intolerance and an allergy to a medicine that had recently been started. Doctor John E. Van Wye was very rude, saying that we should take a highschool biology course and then went to explain what an allergic reaction *actually* looked like. He said that the people I had talked to (who had diagnosed disorders that I have also been diagnosed with) had no idea what they’re talking about. He blamed everything on previous mental history and said the test would do nothing. It was nice to see that we could add a doctor to the list of doctors that have belittled and laughed us out of the clinic. Oh, and they charged us $70 just to laugh at us.
