I’ve been going to this location since it was Johns. Now I have to find a new barber. It turned into Crawford and Allens a while back the Crawford part of the shop required appointments and now sadly so does the Allen part. I don’t have the luxury of being able to predict when I’ll have a chance to get a hair cut so this doesn’t work for me. They really should put a sign out front warning people so they don’t make the mistake I did and think they could just stop in and get a hair cut. Such a shame Allen is a really good barber. I guess its a sign of the times that customer service would suffer. Maybe if they put up a web site and updated it with availability it would be worth another go but until then I’m not wasting my time on the phone.

Usually a short wait, if not much of a wait at all. Both barbers not only listen well to find out what you want, and actually provide it for you. They’ll even give a shave… it may not be with a razor, but their clippers do a pretty good job. And the hot foam is great.
