I frequent this salon for Mrs. Erika Star. She has her own booth in the back. She relaxes and treats my hair. She’s the only person that I will alllw to do my hair in Arizona. I drive from Tucson. She’s really nice and has really good energy. Love her! Also, she’s from Atlanta so you know she knows what she’s doing. If you want your hair done the right way, you need to book her. You won’t regret it.

Do NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT HERE! I had to pay $50 for wasting my time because the braider Teyanna (who was late for the appointment, might I add) decided my hair was too short for crochet vs. insisting that anyone who books with her have a consultation because she is not the best person to book braids with, she recommended a different person in the same shop who could braid “short hair.” My hair is all natural and there is obvious shrinkage. I even suggested an easier style to cornrow the shorter sides or blow dry it out, But no!

I haven’t been to a hair salon in so long due to the pandemic but since getting vaccinated now feel more comfortable being able to take care of myself. I was able to easily make an appointment for Good Friday, service started promptly on time for my wash, deep condition, trim and silk press. And I was in and out in less than 2 hours!!! The best part is that my stylist, Janay Woods, is obviously very educated on how to handle thick natural hair and talked me through the whole process. My hair came out fabulous and it was worth the 1 hr drive from North Peoria!! Janay is awesome, gentle and knows what she is doing! I’m already looking at dates to come back!!!

Keke is amazing and my daughter looks forward to her appointments – she was always so tender headed but she loves hopping into Keke’s chair! Keke is kind, gentle, friendly and we’re always in and out. My baby’s hair comes out amazing every time – strong, healthy and lasts until our next appointment. Keke is highly recommended!!! Terrible customer service skills!!! And this is why people just say forget it…things are wack out here in Arizona, they have no type of welcoming nature, it’s all about money and entitlements I booked individuals braids two weeks in advance with Reonna. All to get a text 15 before my appointment saying “I woke up late can we reschedule”? My appointment was at 9:30 am so I was clearly the first appointment she had the nerve to say I can get you in at 3:30 cus she had “other” clients so you mean to tell me your other clients are more important than me! For this to be my first time booking with them the way she handled this was very disappointing and unprofessional!! Threw my WHOLE day off…did not try to make any accommodation..called my phone and would let it ring once and hang up to make it seem as though she was trying to reach out. If you aren’t passionate in customer service try another skill, just lost a potential customer. And yup I’m leaving a terrible review cus that’s the service I received oops I’m sorry NO service at all! If you behind everyone gotta wait and it should be done in order NOT what services are paying you most.
