Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI wanted a nice, natural hair style for my wedding. I booked an appointment but was worried about how my hair would look. I sent a photo to the stylist, Johnneka, and I talked to her about my hair texture and length. I could not make the free 15-minute consultation so we were able to discuss it on the phone. She suggested the type of hair, Marley, that I should buy. On the day of my appointment, the day before my wedding, I had to complete a COVID awareness questionairre. The employees and clients were wearing masks. I was asked to wash my hairs in the back and return to the front…fine by me! I met with Johnneka and went over what I wanted. After making a few adjustments to my style, I ended up loving the end result!! Johnneka was very patient and professional. I received so many compliments on my hair. I wanted a nice, natural hair style for my wedding. I booked an appointment but was worried about how my hair would look. I sent a photo to the stylist, Johnneka, and I talked to her about my hair texture and length. I could not make the free 15-minute consultation so we were able to discuss it on the phone. From booking the appointment with ease without the need for the crazy non-refundable deposits other salons charge to the quick sit down consultation to make sure I was heard. Jason did a good job. Every detail is thought out here regarding the client’s comfort. Like the foot rest to support the lower back while having hair washed and a head rest to support the neck. I love that my butt actually fit in their salon chairs. Everything is considerate and well thought out. I’m a fan!Update: 9/9 I’ve been going to Carolyn. She did the first sew-in I’ve ever had and did a phenomenal job! I’ve been having issues with my hair due to health issues so I broke down and chose to get a weave. I showed her how full and long my hair use to be and she did an exact replica. I almost cried when she turned me around in the chair. It looks completely natural. Everyone in the salon was amazed at how it looked like my hair which was what I wanted. Carolyn is a great stylist and very patient. The customer service I received here was excellent! From booking the appointment with ease without the need for the crazy non-refundable deposits other salons charge to the quick sit down consultation to make sure I was heard. Jason did a good job. Every detail is thought out here regarding the client’s comfort. Like the foot rest to support the lower back while having hair washed and a head rest to support the neck. Critical: QualityI went to the Sunrise location. My hair did not turn out the way I wanted it. The color did not match the picture presented. My hair turned orange and gold. My entire scalp was burning as soon as bleach touched it. A strand test was not performed. My hair was washed out and blow dried for another application of bleach. My scalp was burning again. After another wash out, It was toned to calm the orange tones. That did not work. My hair was still orange and spotty. Some parts were brighter than others. The back of my head was still brown. I went to the Sunrise location. My hair did not turn out the way I wanted it. The color did not match the picture presented. My hair turned orange and gold. My entire scalp was burning as soon as bleach touched it. A strand test was not performed. My hair was washed out and blow dried for another application of bleach. My scalp was burning again.
