Jamie did AMAZING with my son tonight. He’s had about 5 haircuts in his 3 years of life because they traumatize him every single time. This was our first time seeing Jamie and man it was like a whole different kid once he got her vibe. Cried at first and then sat like a champ. We have been looking for someone to cut both of our sons’ hair since moving to the area. We have one little that has had ONE haircut in his 3.5 years due to language delays and sensory issues. We tried so many places that had great staff, but he flipped out either before getting in the chair, before they started, mid cut etc. Our son climbed right in Jamie’s chair and was eager to have those locks chopped off. When scheduling, I gave her a head’s up so she wasn’t surprised when we arrived and even gave her an out ahead of time. When I tell you she was patient, kind, supportive and compassionate, that doesn’t begin to describe her. Jamie took the time to show him her tools, explain what she was doing (even if he didn’t quite understand) and was very gentle. As a mother who struggles with helping my little one adapt and be understood by those who may not understand his needs, Jamie put it all at ease. I had to sit in the car for a few when we left pulling myself back together because she forever changed his life. He struggled with hair in his eyes, crying that kids pulled his hair at daycare, combs and washes were a struggle, people called him a girl etc. A small act of kindness that is obviously so easy for Jamie, has impacted our family in a big way. I can’t speak highly enough of her as a person, not to mention her skills at cutting hair! Just book an appointment because you won’t be disappointed!

Why make an appointment when they just put you with whomever even if they don’t know how to cut that type of hair. Twice now my son gets the young guy even when I make appointments weeks ahead of time with Mike. Guess it doesn’t matter as long as they get your money. We won’t be back. Haircut
