Critical: Quality, ValueI had a TERRIBLE experience with Cassie, I was SO EXCITED to get my hand tied extensions done, and they were not cheap, they were around 700 dollars altogether. It’s her job to match my hair color, which was medium brown, I go in and she starts putting in the extensions and they are flat warm yellow blonde, I had lowlights and alot dimension in my hair. It didn’t match at all, I asked that she tone it to make it match and she seemed annoyed, after she toned the extensions they were almost BLACK, again she’s insisting that they will blend if she curls it… Calls the manager over who agrees that it doesn’t match so she tones my whole head, I never wanted to do that, I do not look good with very dark brown hair but I had to because she left the toner on for too long. Leaving the salon my real hair and my extensions STILL do not match, it’s noticable, other people have noticed, I texted Cassie and she didn’t respond and she charged me extra for the color correction that was her fault. I apologize for the very long winded review, and like I said the manager has been very helpful and has agreed to tone my real hair again which is unfortunately the only option. Before I entered the building, I was terrified to say the least. It had been about five years since I’d had a professional color my hair due to a bad experience. A friend from work referred me to Bethany Norris and I must say that letting her work her magic on my hair was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Bethany made me feel very welcome and relaxed when she introduced herself to me. I explained to her my hair history and my goals and she listened! While waiting for the color to process, she made sure I was comfortable and even offered me a cappuccino. When I saw my hair for the first time after she styled it, I couldn’t believe the difference! She had taken before and after pictures, so it was almost like I was looking at a completely different person. I finally felt like myself. A wonderful feeling I hadn’t experienced in a long time. Holding back tears, I thanked her for everything she’d done. It was truly a wonderful experience and I’d recommend Bethany to anyone. She’s the best!!

Had a hard time finding an appointment anywhere being that I am from out of town and spring break was the week before. This salon has a message board and put my request on there. Within a few hours I was all set for an appointment the next day!

The massage therapist, Mary Boone, was excellent! The environment was horrible. If you are looking for relaxation and a spa experience do NOT go here. I could hear every footstep on the floor above us, people clomping up and down the stairs and on more than one occasion people having LONG talks right outside the door. It was also warm in the salon but FREEZING in the “back rooms” . Again, this is not a reflection on Mary. Sound proofing and a bit of heat is something this salon should look into.

Hair cut & color wasn’t what I expected for $100 it was what I would have expected from Fantastic Sam’s.. no response to my complaint from hairdresser or management. I wear glasses so I can’t see what they are doing until it’s over and too late.. it’s taken 3 cuts & colors to fix what she did.. thankfully my hair growns fast. Salon was nice looking.. I expected better than a mullet and a skull cap of “highlights”… other hairdressers are probably fine just not willing to take the chance again.
