I was searching for a massage therapist for neck pain with associated headaches. It is hard to find a massage therapist that is able to address both deep tissue and stress related issues. Sandy was very caring and specifically addressed both issues. She is very knowledgeable and had appointments available in the evenings and Saturday which is hard to find. I continue to have lasting relief from the neck pain and headaches. Deep tissue massage combined with heat resulted in significant relief from the severe neck pain, helped to relieve stress and improve sleep quality. I have been going to Sandy for massages for about 2 years now. I have an injury that causes neck & back pain and every time i leave her office, i feel so much better! Somehow she finds all my tight areas & loosens them up. She isn’t fluffy. What you see is what you get. But she is hard working & good at what she does. She often squeezes me in last minute if im hurting & doesn’t charge an arm or a leg for appts. She accomodates any special requests I have, like using certain essential oils w my massage, music, pressure, etc.

Sandy smelt of smoke as she had just come in from her car, smoking before my massage. Her hands reeking of smoke. Drinking coffee with her coffee breathe all over me. HORRIBLE.Now, here comes the worst part. She asked if I minded her using cocoa butter cream. I said no. She was drinking coffee and “rubbed” the lotion all over my body. It was the worst smelling lotion (jar was industrial size and I’m willing to bet, purchased at the dollar store.) There was ZERO massaging, just rubbing this lotion all over my body. between my toes and fingers and ear lobes. was VERY very uncomfortable getting rubbed with smoky, coca butter lotion, and coffee bad breathe. I thought I was in some sort of TV experiment. Sandy is about 70- years old, very tiny and frail, so my initial reaction, was oh boy I’m in trouble. Little did I know HOW BAD this was going to be.I was counting the minutes I had to get out of there and listening to her CD boom box where she would have to restart the CD during my massage. WOW. She actually went to the bathroom and was drinking coffee throughout my lotion bath. I was so grossed out I came immediately came home and took a long warm shower. I returned to Sandy for massage therapy after spas and other treatments didn’t work for neck, shoulder, and lower leg pain. Not only did she relieve the aches, but she also suggested simple stretches that I could do to stop the pain from resurfacing. I tried them for awhile, and it worked! I keep them up, and it is such a relief from the aches that I used to have. Sandy is so knowledgeable with all her experience, and she is always pleasant to talk to. I look forward to my massage sessions with her.
