Critical: ProfessionalismI normally dont do google reviews however i felt like one for this place was completely necessary. If I could give this place negative stars I would.I love to support Black owned/minority business however this place is a complete joke and I do not know how they still are in business. Professionalism is ridiculous. I have had 4 girls in the same friend group and I go here over the course of a month and the amount of rescheduling, canceling, excuses, waiting is absolutely ridiculous. Its crazy because try to come late they will charge, however these people do not know how to maintain appointments. Its actually laughable they call themselves a business. Nail techs are extremely rude and the owner doesnt know how to properly run a business it seems. Customer service is lacking.I would suggest going here if you like to wait for hours just to get your nails done and be charged over priced. Also the product they use is extremely cheap. My fiend got charged 70$ for gel paint on her toes just for it to peel off later that day.I normally dont do google reviews however i felt like one for this place was completely necessary. Critical: Communication, QualityI booked a same day pedicure online. The nail tech who serviced me name began with an R. The booking site did not autosend an appointment reminder to my phone via text or email. I double checked my junk mail etc it just wasn’t there. I thought my appointment was at 12:30 it ended up being for 12. The nail tech seemed irritated (understandably). I apologized to her and explained the situation but she really wasn’t tryna hear it, I told her it’s cool if she can’t fit me in. She still did the pedicure. After starting my pedicure i tried to make small talk asked how her morning was, she was just short and not really for it. Shortly into the pedicure I learned her previous client was getting a wax service, and that client had a parent or grandparent (who I guess was her ride) that was growing increasingly frustrated with the long wait. The nail tech apologized to her and rushed through my soak to do the previous clients wax service. When another tech asked what’s going on my nail tech answered her implying that me being late caused her other clients long wait. Like she could’ve made me wait or denied the service and kept the fee.anyways she Came back did my gel polish. Once finished I went up front to pay with a card. The card reader was tricky at first, asked her what I should do next she “you literally just put the card in and follow the prompts” with an attitude. I tipped $20… it’s not the greatest tip ever but it’s not no bad tip either. The nail tech didn’t even look at the receipt didn’t say thank you or goodbye. Now 10 days later my polish is peeling off… I had this same service at different nail salons and gel could last over a month if you let it. She seems very stylish and her nail designs are soooo creative and unique. I live in North Carolina but always had intentions on having Kash do my nails if I’m ever in the city.On December 10 Kash posted on her insta story that she had acrylic powder for sale. I reached out to her she responded immediately. I purchased one of each color she had available. I paid her through cash app shipping included 67$ . Come dec 28 I still had not received my items so I reached out to Kash to ask for my tracking so I could check on the eta of my items. She replied she would send tracking after she got off work.Two days later dec 30 I reached out to her again asking for my tracking .I received no response. It’s Christmas time so I understand mail is slow . Not once did I ask for refund just tracking. I reached out to her again Jan 2 then again Jan 8. Still no response.Now I’m not sure if her page got hacked so I reached out to Aliya Jan 8 who responded In a timely manner stating she would relay the message for me. Only then did Kash message me back stating she would send me a refund and she doesn’t know why I haven’t received my items .Now here is why I’m writing a review. I told Aliya I would keep her posted and inform her when my situation was resolved. Jan 10 comes still nothing I contact Kash and she states she’s waiting on her funds to transfer to send my refund. Jan 11 still no items or refund I informed Aliya that i don’t want to be petty over 67$ and and I have suspicions Kash never had intentions to even send items and shes scamming people on the internet. it’s now jan 12 and I have just received a cash app for 25 $ and a note from Kash stating IOU 30$ the total amount owed was 67$ not 55$ .I’ve been scammed and now I’m fill like the bad guy. All I wanted was the tracking number. I appreciate Aliya’s assistance in resolving the issue .I’m seeing now Kash is unprofessional and a scammer who doesn’t care about tarnishing the reputation of Aliya’s salon . I understand it’s hard to find good help and like I stated before I am a fan of Kash’s work from what I’ve seen on Instagram….. but I would give Kash’s professionalism a negative 10 rating if I could .I do not ever we write reviews but here we go ….
