I am new to the area and chose this salon because of the reviews. When I called I explained my hair was short and had a previous bad haircut and just wanted it fixed. The first red flag was when I called I was told that the girl that cuts short hair is on vacation for two weeks. Then after looking at the book, the “owner” had a cancellation the next day so I went in. I mean the owner should know how to cut short hair, right? Wrong. When I asked her why there was only one girl designated to cut short hair she said because the other girls only like to cut long hair because it’s easier. (Red flag #2) I explained I wanted to “grow my hair out” but my previous cut was very uneven and I just wanted it fixed. She asked me if I had a picture and I found one on my phone. She proceeded to cut, and cut. My hair looks nothing like the picture. In fact, from the center of the back of my head and the rest of the way down is MAYBE only a half inch long now and the top is unmanageable. Being that I’m new to the area, my apartment complex is having their Christmas party this coming weekend and I was looking forward to meeting new people. Now I don’t know what I’m going to do. If I went somewhere else to have this mess fixed, they would have to take off even more. On top of all that, she charged me $50.00!!! I wouldn’t have minded paying that if I looked nice but now I look like a boy. I’m sorry I even got it cut. At least before I could still do something with it, just took longer. I guess it’s my fault for not looking at it close enough before I left but what could she have done. Bottom line is DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE SHORT HAIR. : (

Just had an amazing experience at Salon Karma! Cambri gave me a root touch up and highlights, and I love it! She did a wonderful job and all of the other ladies working today were doing awesome jobs as well. A precious little 3-year old boy was getting his hair cut and actually went to sleep! Talk about relaxing!! Book your appointment with one of the ladies ASAP. You won’t be disappointed!
