Critical: ProfessionalismI called at 730am because this business is listed as being open 24hrs. She wasn’t awake so when I stated I’d call back she asked me what I wanted with an attitude. I asked for a style and she suggested against it because of my hair length. I took her suggestion but had questions, instead of answering them, she proceeded with “anyway” and asked when I could come. I stated I could come after purchasing hair from the hair store and she said she had hair. I asked how much and she quoted me $200. I asked how long the hair would be and her response was 5 hrs. I repeated the question about the hair and her response was crass…”have you never haid synthetic hair”? I have but I wanted to know how long the braids would be for the price. O asked if she had hair to confirm and stated that my hair is currently purple. She replied saying she didn’t have purple hair and hung up on me.I’m disappointed in her unprofessional phone etiquette. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis is my second time going to Alima’s salon. My braids came out fantastic once again. Prior to my arrival my box braids lasted for 3 mths. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityHad a good experience here. I honestly think they should have a no children rule if the child isn’t getting their hair done . The girl who did my hair is awesome patient and meticulous. I will definitely go back to get my hair rebraided.
