Becky was excellent and fixed my haircut and cut it exactly the way I wanted! It was a very refreshing experience. She exceeded my expectations and I will be making this salon my go-to for all of my haircuts! Highly recommend – 5 stars !

During the past 10 years I’ve been going to Alice & Co I have never had a problem. It’s easy to make an appointment or you can walk in to get a haircut or manicure. As soon as you walk in the door you feel relaxed and know the stylists will take care of your hair and have you looking great! Critical: ProfessionalismI strongly believe that Marie takes advantage of young college girls that she feels are spending Daddy’s money. My daughter called ahead and asked how much for a cut and a “full head of highlights”. Was told $250. Seemed high to me but it is her hard earned money and she really liked her stylist who had cut her hair before. Comes home with an absolute AWFUL splotchy and streaky mess (from less than 20 fouls, not a full head) and a night of tears and no hair cut. I intervened and Called. Received Marie who informed me that she wouldn’t be able to do anything about it for at least a month. She offered for the same very young stylist to try again in a few days to correct the color. So she tried again.Second round. Daughter is charged for the haircut and additional supplies to correct the color from two days previous. Wait, she’d paid what was quoted for a cut and full head of highlights. Color was corrected somewhat and daughter is pleased. But almost $400?! Marie at Alice’s has been cutting and coloring my hair for six years now. The color and style are great; as is the service. Prior to living in Oxford I lived and had my hair done all over the country. Marie and Alice’s stand up to the best. Jessica does a wonderful pedicure and Mary on reception is so welcoming. Alice’s is the place to be “beautified.”

I have been going to Alice & Co since I was in high school. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair; which means I still go visit Marie or Alice for highlights and a trim even though I live 700 miles away! The staff is very down to earth and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a comfortable atmosphere combined with trustworthy hands to create a look you’ll love.

My haircut turned out just fine and looked and felt great! I gave three stars however because I was told by my stylist that I couldn’t lighten my hair without bleaching my head which sounded strange to me at the time and later I asked my stylist from back home about how she lightened my hair prior and she said there are several ways to lighten your hair without bleach!
