She does really nice neat braids, but customer service wise it’s a hit or miss. I been going to her for a while because like I said her braids come out nice. But I also had other services done here like faux locs and they started to came out within a week. She did give me a discount off my next hairstyle but I wasted 170 only for it to last one week, ( I should mention, she didn’t do them, her daughter did.) Also, one time I made an appointment and I showed up to her hair salon at her previous location and she was not there. She had forgot all about my appointment and asked if I could come back that afternoon because she was on her way to a dr. appointment. What makes it even worse is she had moved to a different location and she didn’t even tell me when I scheduled the appointment. So I was standing outside her salon and it wasn’t even her salon. Great braider but she needs to work on her customer service.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueIf I could give no stars I would. Alice and her other braiders are very, very unprofessional. She stopped braiding my hair to work on not 1 but 2 other people’s heads. Also she has her 2 daughters 14 years old & 18 years old helping to braid my hair, then another lady helped after they stopped braiding my hair. Then she took over an hour to eat. Alice is rude and she doesn’t even talk to you as she’s braiding your hair. They all speak loudly in your ear to each other in French and ignore there customers. Also Alice is a sloppy braider and her parts are crooked. Alice has no concern or experience in how to properly comb, part or what hair care products to use on customers hair. This shop is a dirty, stinky hole in the wall. Beware they hate us and only want our money!!! I can’t make this stuff up. This was a waste of time and money. I will never recommend this unprofessional, rude place to anyone. Tip to Alice: learn how to part straight parts, get the proper combs and hair products. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went to Alice’s hair salon to get my braids done because my stylist was unavailable and I couldn’t wait. I had a horrible experience, first the salon was cold and I had my coat on the entire time. It took about 8 hours to complete my braids and the entire time she was either on her phone video chatting or talking to the other stylist. They were talking loudly and yelling in a language I did not understand. The worst part is how tightly she pulled my hair. I asked her 3 times not to pull my hair so tight and she said it was because I have natural hair. I paid her $160 yet I had to uninstall the braids the next day because of how tight they were. She Does not listen to customers need and very unprofessional. honestly i didn’t like the fact that my appointment started at 1:00 & u stared it a whole hour later. You had your son sneezing every where didn’t cover his nose not once now i feel like i’m sick smh. Another thing you started your hair before mine & had other ppl finish my hair while you blow dryed your daughters hair so unprofessional.

I usually go to the city to get my hair done but I didn’t have enough time before the event. I tried to get in different places but no one was available and one person wanted too much money. Alice got me in the chair and had someone braiding my in no time. My hair looks great and I paid less money. I will be back!!!
