I am a European-American senior woman. I’ve been getting my hair cut here at a very reasonable price for almost two years. The very skilled stylists all take meticulous care to please customers and are very courteous. I saw the review by glam girl that only Latinx clients were welcome. I have recently recommended Alex’s to African-American friends and I asked the salon about Glam girl’s review. I was told that her review was 3 years old, that the salon personnel were different now, and that Alex’s was glad to have a diverse clientele. They did not dismiss, as I did not, the discrimination experienced by Glam girl.

Unfortunately, prices have been raised to $25 for a simple haircut, and they charge an extra dollar for paying with a card…and then expect you to tip on top of that. I remember when it used to be $17…maybe even less years before that. Haircut
