Critical: CommunicationThe pros…..I just walked in to inquire about pricing and was able to just walk in and get the massage…The actual massage was very deep tissue and was pretty good.The cons…..music was terrible…the first one minute of 3 Songs(Stevie wonders-I just called to say I love you, a sting and a Karen carpenter song) played over and over the entire hour….so I literally heard the first one minute of each song 20 times…it was like a weird dream…the front desk didn’t speak English well at all…Just a small curtain for a door.The pros…..I just walked in to inquire about pricing and was able to just walk in and get the massage…The actual massage was very deep tissue and was pretty good. …More

Positive: Professionalism, QualityEver since my trip to China, I have been searching for a Chinese spa. This is a gold mine!!! Especially if you need deep tissue massage. The traditional foot massage is an amazing combination of foot washing and reflexology – just like I experienced in Chengdu! The pricing is fair. You pay before – so tip generously with the expectation of expert service. I’m going back soon for Chinese cupping to increase circulation. PRO TIP: Bring cash. They had some issues with their credit card machine. STAY OPENMINDED: This is likely the best massage you will ever get, however, there is a bit of a language and cultural barrier. Your therapist might walk on your back – which I personally like. USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE English to Mandarin: (I survived in China for weeks with it). EMBRACE THE MUSIC (it’s a typical mashup like you would find in China). DON’T be thrown by the curtain for a door. It’s safe and private-promise! DON’T be afraid of the language barrier. You would never know this is a business phone number. Several times when I called to schedule/reschedule my visit, they would say “I’m not there call me later.” What, is the number a personal cell phone!? I called multiple times with no success of catching anyone to schedule, and now the Groupon has expired and I’m out the money that I paid for it. I called multiple times to utilize a Groupon voucher. They are very unprofessional in answering the phone with a simple “hello”. You would never know this is a business phone number. Several times when I called to schedule/reschedule my visit, they would say “I’m not there call me later.” What, is the number a personal cell phone!?
