Absolutely LOVE this place!! First time customer today. My son and I got a wash and set with a trim. The salon was clean, organized, you sign in, grab a number, wash, go under the dryer, then blow-dry, flatiron and trim. Mayra did my hair and Alejandrina did my son’s hair. The pictures are worth a thousand words. Let me also say we both have curly thick long hair and these ladies outdid themselves!!!

Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, my process from start to finish was about an hour… which is unheard of in the world of wash and sets lol… but my service included a deep condition, trim and blow out… $55 (your price will vary as wash and set costs also go by length of hair) . I was very pleased either way after my first time there. I’ll definitely be going back!

The wait was Ridiculous!! But I have ZERO problem waiting for my hair to be cut correctly! I have super straight hair and if it’s uneven, it’s noticable! I have found my new hairdresser! They gave me a great cut! And the prices are reasonable! Great job Alejandrina’s!!

I moved from the city to Orange County a few years ago and prayed I was able to find a beautician that was able to provide the same type of service and quality I was used to getting. I google search beauticians in Newburgh and came across one but the day I intended to get my hair done, the place was closed and I stumbled across Alejandrina’s. When I first entered, I felt welcomed and comfortable. I was very satisfied at the end of my visit and I’m very happy to say that 5 years later….I’m still a satisfied customer. I had damaged my hair so badly from braids/extensions earlier this year and after seeking consultation on different treatment options, I decided to try the Organic Chocolate Keratin. I got the treatment in May and it was the best decisions I ever made. My hair is growing in healthier and at a quick pace with a glossy shine. I bought the Shampoo, Conditioner and Treatment Conditioner in order to prevent hair breakage in between my visits to the Salon. I moved from the city to Orange County a few years ago and prayed I was able to find a beautician that was able to provide the same type of service and quality I was used to getting. This place is underrated. I used to go to another place & just was never satisfied. My hair felt thin & ugly. So I tried this place a little over a year ago & I been coming here since then. Let me just say the hair growth I’ve seen is amazing! I used to HATE my hair and always hide it underneath wigs but since I’ve been coming here my hair has never been more healthy & has never grown so much! I also tried the keratin treatment which made a huge difference! I love my hair now! I can’t express it enough. Thank you ladies for restoring my hair back! Strongly recommend.

I moved up here about 1 yr ago from the city. I first started going to Beatrice up the block. Rude owners always trying to get me to do a relaxer and over priced. Never felt like a customer there. I kept passing by Alejandras and one day I said I’ll try her. The best decision I ever did. I felt like I was back in my old salon with my crazy funny beauticians. Never a dull moment lots of laughs. My hair without a relaxer was beautiful. I could not stop running my fingers in my hair soft and restored. I finally have my natural wild hair without chemicals. Wash roll set and style. Everyone thinks I have a relaxer and I do not. The price is fair and the work is good she is a good beautician. She cares about your hair and tells you about yourself when you mistreat your hair so does the washer. They are down to earth people and staff I am glad I stopped in…I wish she was opened on a Monday or Tuesday but she is not. The only salon opened on a Sunday and around this neck of the woods I’ll take it…

She does it excellent and I have no complaint ‘s but sometimes it can take a long time to do hair if the washers are only there and not the owner. I still go all of the time. Also, there are times when she is very busy and short on staff that could be a long wait to get your hair done.
