I had the most amazing experience working with Ena and the team at The Alchemist for my September 2022 wedding. From the first late spring hair consultation to the big day, Ena was such a pro. We had a small wedding party (myself-bride, mother of the bride, maid of honor and friend-officiant). Ena and her team were able to get us all fit in and we were all super satisfied both with our hair and make-up. Angela did our makeup. She took our feedback from the consultation and made us all feel so naturally beautiful. I would highly recommend the team at the Alchemist for your wedding!!

I used the Alchemist exclusively for years. I’ve had some good experiences (Amanda), some okay experiences, a few disappointing experiences and a HORRIBLE experience which was the last straw. I went in for a blonde root touch up and left with a patchy all over grey which the salon REFUSED to acknowledge, fix or reimburse me for. A huge problem with the Alchemist is they think they know what’s best for you and don’t consult you with what YOU want for YOUR hair. They never ask for reference photos or explain what toner they are going to use or describe what shade you’re hair is going to be. They talk amongst the other stylists and think this color would look cool on the client.

Amanda is an expert with cutting and coloring my wavy/curly hair. I’ve never enjoyed getting my hair done before, so that’s saying a lot! Alchemist is always clean, comfortable, and professional. All the staff is polite and I’ve never had to wait! The prices are also very reasonable. I’ve been to this salon a few times and always leave feeling happy with my experience. Amanda is an expert with cutting and coloring my wavy/curly hair. I’ve never enjoyed getting my hair done before, so that’s saying a lot! Alchemist is always clean, comfortable, and professional. All the staff is polite and I’ve never had to wait! The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend this place!!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was terrible. I have had a decent experience and a very bad couple of experiences here. I had made an appointment it was clear that my appointment was set to be a few hrs, to bleach and then dye my hair pastel pink. The first time I went in, a stylist completely ruined my hair. She did not bleach it, she rushed me through and gave me A color that faded and turned awful within 2 hrs. I went back and they agreed it was awful. I requested this be set right to which the hesitantly agreed. Worse than the color was the hair cut! Wow. She pulled my hair across the top of my head and just hacked it up. 4 months later I still have very short pieces ALL over the top of my head. Like I said rushed me through. It was embarrassing and Terrible. So I had to wait a while like this before they “fixed” it. I got the bleach and the pink I was after, once a different (apprentice even) stylist got a chance to fix it. But the cut was beyond repair. At the end I was charged $65!! I said what for? You’re suppose to be making up for a mistake. And they replied I would HAVE to pay for the cut… the hair cut that I did not get. I would not trust this place with your hair or money. I’ve gone in for simple blonde highlights and came out looking no different. Never again.Service: HairstylingThis was terrible. I had made an appointment it was clear that my appointment was set to be a few hrs, to bleach and then dye my hair pastel pink. The first time I went in, a stylist completely ruined my hair.
