If I could give it (-) stars I would.. it was the worst experience. My daughter and I came there for the first time. The one who did my hair.. burned me with the blow dryer the whole time she was blow drying it.. then burned the side of my face with the flat iron. So I have a burn mark on my face..and my hair wasn’t even silky. The roots were frizzy. I have 3A hair.. They had an inexperienced person try to do my daughters hair which her texture requires an experience person. Her hair was stiff..she used way too much product in her hair because she was inexperienced. My daughter left crying. I was so embarrassed to leave a salon who was suppose to do her hair and it looked like my daughter did it herself. It was HORRIBLE!!! I would never recommend them.. I felt like they ripped me off for $95 dollars. I had to go home and try to do something with her hair.. my hair lasted 2 days..

HORRIBLE. They charged me 60$ just to dye my hair black! Not to mention they did a terrible job applying it on my hair. I had black hair dye all over my ears and even on my cheek! Terrible job removing the hair dye I had to wash my hair a second time at home. It was too much I didn’t even blow dry or straighten my hair to be charged so much.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’ve been struggling to find a good hair salon.. so when I found Alba’s i thought I found my go to spot for my trims. I’ve been here 2 times. The first time a young girl cut my hair. She was super nice and left my hair looking amazing (I got a trim and face framing layers along with a trim to my bangs) I was so impressed that 3 months later I made another appointment for the same service. Second time was nothing like the first. I made the appointment for nothing because I had to wait for 3 walk-ins first. Then, I was seated in a chair on the back near the hair washing station. The lady’s station was SO messy with even things on the floor. She barely asked me questions and kept gossiping with another client that was getting her hair washed. Once it got to my bangs I told her how I wanted them, to my surprise, she cut them WAYY to far back, in a rectangular way. I’ve been struggling to find a good hair salon.. so when I found Alba’s i thought I found my go to spot for my trims. I’ve been here 2 times. The first time a young girl cut my hair. My daughter and I went there faithfully for about 1 year. We am African American with mid back length hair ( my daughter’s is down to her bra strap) I found this place to really be able to straighten our hair where the process would last . Good thing ! The reason I took points is because I had a very bad experience with one of the washers. The older lady that washes did not know what to do with my hair. She put something in it to make it hard. When I asked she said it was a deep conditioner, not what I usually het. She then manipulated the hair in such a way that it was severely tangled . Long and short she pulled and combed breaking my hair. The stylist had to cut it . The owner was on vacation and then Covid happened have not been back since. If you are African American use the young girl that washes hair. She’s good! Other than that I have no complaints.
