The lady who cut my hair COMPLETELY messed it up. I didn’t realize how bad the hair cut was until I styled it. I asked for layers and I get hair that is 1 to 2 inches longer than the hair next to it. Think twice about coming here for a hair cut.

I’ve gone now twice to get my eyebrows threaded and have left both times with multiple cuts under my eyebrow….and the person that did it said it was my fault. I told them I was new to this and that I had a big event and they didn’t give me proper directions to ensure I wouldn’t be left with red marks that would take days to heal. Not even an apology. I would not recommend this salon

4/29/21 – Today was my first time going to this place and I was happy with my pedicure. The lady who gave me my pedicure was very nice and did a good job. The only negative I have is that I wish the massage on my legs and feet during the pedicure lasted a little longer.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI always take my kids here for haircuts. They do an excellent job and are very inexpensive. I also get my eyebrows threaded regularly here. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is a pedicure here. They are good, but not great. Alamo unique salon will forever have our business for threading and haircuts!

I live in the neighborhood and always passed by the unique salon, and i meet the owner and she is super nice, super sweet. I had my hair cut done twice here and I had a great experience. La señora que me lo corto habla español. I definitely come back for a manicure or pedicure and I will update my review

Eye brow threading is awesome here! Fast and everyone there is so nice! I had originally only gone with Mandy (she is great) but yesterday I had some other lady do them – I LOVE them, she did as just as a great job as Mandy had done in the past! Even as I was getting up after I thought she was done she stopped me and said wait let me get that one hair, lol like I didn’t even notice but the lady wanted them perfect, and the are! I also got eye lash extensions, first time ever and my husband loves them. They look So natural and full.Definitely going to do it again! I love going here, it’s affordable and they ladies are so friendly. It’s not like the awkward places you go alone and no one talks to you. Everyone there makes you feel right at home

Went in today at the recommendation of a friend. I was still nervous because good stylists are hard to find. I left with exactly the cut I wanted! She listened to what I was looking for and made it happen! And at a very reasonable price! I will be going back.

I had never had “threading” done, but I’m tired of waxing. So I came here from the MANY recommendations, and they DID NOT disappoint! I came in as a walk in and was taken back pretty quickly, but do be aware this is a very small salon. Two chairs for hair, two pedicure chairs, and two nail tables were all I recall seeing, and three total stylists/ techs. I don’t get my nails done regularly, but came back the next day to get a mani/ pedi (they had a special, both for $30!).. LOVED that they were clean and used new sterile, packaged tools for each person. Was only a little disappointed (hence the four stars) that they didn’t do any type of “fake” nails and the art work was non-existent (on others I saw and received only solid colors.. she didn’t seem excited when I initially showed a picture of a design on fake nails ). So, to sum, I’ll be back for the eyebrow threading, probably not for the nails) ☺
