I’ve been a customer of AK Nails for around 6 years if not longer. Hanna is the only one that does my nails and they last 4 weeks and maintain a beautiful shape/look. I used to live in the area but moved to east Mesa and will make the drive because I’ve tried other places near me and I’ve been consistently disappointed.

I looks I got my dip done by a 5 year old, I ask them to fix them, and the lady said NO I told her that the wasn’t even the color I ask, that I ask for a darker color not the one, she said at the beginning it would look darker ones it’s done, and nop, even the nails look with a bunch of bubbles on them, if you decide to came in ask for JJ or John they know what they do, don’t go with any one else. Also who did my nails was the MANAGER, TOO BAD THE OWNERS HAD THIS PERSON AS A MANAGER SHE IS SUPER RUDE AND SHE REFUSED TO FIX MY NAILS SHE ASK ME TO GET GEL COLOR INSTEAD FIXING THE PROBLEM. JUST POOR SERVICE FROM THIS MANAGER. This place should have a 1 star not 4

A few months ago I posted a 5 star review, I was very pleased with my first business but now I will avoid this place at ALL costs. The second time I got a full set it took over and hour to get my nail color filed off the man seemed inexperienced. This was after I told them I had a class coming up and would only do a pedicure. If I had time they decided to start me with a pedicure despite what I told them and I was late for my class because I had it inexperienced nail tech. Whatever I gave it another chance. The following experience was the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had getting my nails done in my entire life. I was sitting through a fill, another nail tech approaches us other than the guy doing my nails and drops down a bag of illicit substance. I pretend I didn’t see it and then he proceeds to hit on me through Google translate, saying that I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and asking for my phone number. Super unprofessional will never be back. Not also break every single time and I’ve never had that with another nail salon will no longer be back.

It’s just ok for me. My dip nails chipped 4 days post visit. So that was very frustrating. It was more expensive than other places. Unfortunately, I won’t be back. But they did look good while they lasted.
