Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueRuined my daughter’s hair! The cut was horrible, the color washed out after one wash. It was severely over processed, her hair was fried! Worst of all, she told them her scalp was burning while being bleached under lights! This was ignored and as a result, she had a chemically burned scalp and sores that took over two weeks to heal. To top it off she was charged $200+, for something that didn’t look anything like her reference photo. I did not go with her, so I can only speak to the aftermath, but I find it completely unprofessional for an owner of a salon to do this to anyone! If it can’t be achieved or isn’t recommended, it’s your job to tell them, not to physically and emotionally harm them! Now her scalp thank god has healed and she has ended up with a cute cut by a PROFESSIONAL! But it will take a lot of treatment and time before the color can be corrected. I never leave reviews, and I don’t take this lightly at all. I hate negative reviews, but this is one of the most awful experiences I’ve ever witnessed. Not to mention how much is coming out of my pocket to have it fixed! Thankfully she has some hair left and was not left scarred. As a short haired female it is hard to find places in Mississippi in general that I can get a good cut without looking like a short haired chick named Mike or a mullet loving lesbian. Aaron knows how to get it done while personalizing the cut to your interests. His salon is effing amazing with awesome music that plays with verry cool rock vibe visuals for you to enjoy. He always exceeds all expectations and is well worth the money. (Even though it isnt outrageous or expensive!) You can tell he definitely takes pride in his work and I take pride in my cuts! I’ve been going to Aaron’s for few years now and it has quickly become the only place I’ll go. As a short haired female it is hard to find places in Mississippi in general that I can get a good cut without looking like a short haired chick named Mike or a mullet loving lesbian.
