My best friend and I scheduled blowouts for today at 11:30 AM. Both of us were supposed to have appointments at 11:30, when we arrived at the salon only to find out that there was only one stylist available…one of us was supposed to go first, and the other second. Which was a bummer! But we were able to accommodate… Only to find out after this stylist washed my hair, which was sloppy and unprofessional…clothes got wet, etc. then we find out the owner wants us to pay via Venmo, or Zelle…REALLY???? I only had a credit card, my friend only had cash, and the door specifically said that they took all credit cards… And cash! It would’ve been nice to know what their payment situation was before my hair was wet… We abruptly left the salon and I had to drive clear back to Alpharetta and obviously do my own hair! Terrible bummer I will never go back to the salon. Completely unprofessional… And by the way, the bathrooms were dirty. Have no idea how the salon got voted high in their ratings… Or voted number one??? YUKK.

If I could leave less stars I would. Worst blowout of my life and took absolutely too long. Post blowout my hair looked like I had stuck my finger in an outlet. Frizzy and not smooth at all. Then the stylist went over it with a flat iron, per my request because it was so bad (which no one has ever had to do before to get my hair sleek) and it still wasn’t sleek! I had to keep correcting and suggesting. An hour and a half plus wasted money for me to have to fix my hair myself. Ridiculous. I will never go back and I suggest you don’t either.

Got my hair done twice at this store and love it every time. I also tried the makeup service this time and was not pleased at all. I did not have time to talk to the manager as I had to race home to take the horrible makeup off before the wedding started. Honestly, I do not think she cleaned her brushes before she put it on my face. For example, she took the brush that she put on my lip and dipped into the liquid lip stick therefore, I feel like she probably did that for the previous customers. That is really gross hence why I raced back home to take it off as fast as I could. Again, same deal with the eyeshadow etc that she used on me. Usually, I see the makeup artist sanitize all brushes before starting the process…. She just finished helping another customer and I was next therefore I knew she did not clean those brushes. Not to mention, I brought my own foundation for her to use as she did not have my color. She could have mixed it with what she had but if you have sensitive skin or prone to acne, that would be risky….I feel like the service is not worth 65 dollars at all.

I made an appointment to have a blow out done on my hair. When I came in and met the stylist doing my hair, she complained about how thick my hair was. She said I should have purchased a different package to do my hair because the one I selected was for people with less hair. She continued to make comments about how thick my hair was and how terrible it must be to dry it. At the end she said to me, “I guess you can’t help that you have all this hair”. I left the salon feeling terrible about my hair. It looked beautiful but I felt like I had done something wrong by going there with my thick hair. The purpose of the appointment was because IT IS a lot of work to do my hair and I just wanted a break from doing it that day. Her job IS to do hair. That’s like complaining about baking all the time and you’re a baker! It made no sense to me. All I could think of is that she didn’t feel like working and my hair was work. What she did was give me a complex about going to get my hair done. Now I think every stylist is complaining in their mind about doing my hair. If they are, I’m just thankful they aren’t rude enough to say it out loud. I will never go there again because of this. If you have thick hair like me I recommend you go somewhere the stylists won’t make you feel bad about it.

I’ve been going to AIR for a couple of years now and I’ve never had any issues, I’ve always left feeling good with an amazing hair color! This last time, however, apparently the software that they had saved my color mixture on had been changed and they no longer had any of that information for my visit. That would have been totally ok if I had been told first so maybe I could have shown my stylist pictures of my previous colors, but nobody told me and this resulted in me needing to come to the salon 3 times in an 8 day span to try and get my color the right way. This wouldn’t usually be a huge deal to me, but getting my hair colored is my treat to myself as I have 3 small kids and don’t get out much! My stylist was great, he was very patient and got me back in to try and fix the color ASAP. It’s just disappointing, especially because what we achieved the last appointment has already washed out of my hair and it’s only been a few weeks. Super sad about this.
