I’ve been three times and the salon is clean and bright. I agree with another post that the online booking is not awesome- and you can’t cancel the appointment through the website if you need to change it. When I went last time, the man behind the desk ignored me while I just stood there waiting for him to acknowledge that I was there. (Later when I mentioned this in a follow-up email, they told me “Jeff” said he absolutely did talk to me, which… he didn’t, but sure, tell the customer she’s wrong.) And Lauren is a great stylist, she colored and cut my hair great, but she must not have used a towel to line my robe this last time, and I left with my shirt bleached in the back from the dye. When I contacted them about it, they told me I should have asked to change out of my shirt. (I’ve never been asked if I want to, nor have I had this happen in the 20 years I’ve been getting my hair colored.) While they did give me a partial refund (basically 10% off), I had to follow up three times about it.

I’m lucky I’m good friends with the stylist I usually see whenever I get a haircut from this place. She does an excellent job with my hair but the website to book your own appointment has a lot of bugs. I tried signing up to book my own appointment and it kept telling me my account wasn’t verified. I clicked the link in my email and I got an “invalid” error message. I clicked on the second link and even though both my name and phone number were there, it kept telling me to enter “all required fields.” I did and made sure it was correct. I don’t know what I was missing. So I have to directly message my friend on social media to book an appointment.

Positive: Cleanliness, Punctuality, QualityThis review is long overdue. Kelly is the best! She is so sweet and always on time. She is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. I only got a haircut, so I’m not sure how she is with coloring hair, but the cut is very good and layered nicely. Finally got the blonde I’ve been wanting!!! Kristin and heather are the ONLY people who have ever given me exactly what I wanted. Kristin told me it would take a while and how long I would be there and it was almost to the minute- exactly what I thought it would be. Their professionalism was so impressive and everybody was so welcoming. I highly recommend this salon and these two wonderful stylists!

Kelly is the best! I have thick curly hair, and she has given me the best haircut of my life. It grows out so well and stays looking great for months. Also have been to Kelly for color and she did a great job translating my vague request into an amazing, seasonal color.

Kristin is amazing! Sometimes it is hard to find good front desk workers. The quality of work of the stylist shouldn’t be judged on the front desk help. I would know owning a business myself that position can be the most challenging to fill. I’m extremely happy with my hair. Love this place.

STEAL YOUR MONEY! I was in the salon to get extensions for the 2nd time, the first time I was charged 150.00, coming in the 2nd time I was under the impressions I would be charged the same, nope! I seen the bill which had 150.00 on it which I watched Kristen herself cross that amount out and put in 250.00. I asked her why the change? She said that’s the cost of them, I then had an email with 25% off service email to me, which I was told my Kristeb I cannot use, because it was from another stylist, well then why was it emailed to me to use? I let that all go, now for my second set of extensions which is I was told from Kristen that they would last at a minimum 2 months, after a week they started coming out one by one each day. I called Kristen to see if she can put them back in? I was told yes come back in, morning of apt I was sent an email from Kristen telling me I would be charged another 50.00, not even sure what for?? This place is a rip off and try to steal your money. And Kristen is very unprofessional with her demeanor, appearance and the way she speaks to clients..

Unprofessional experience… I purchased a Groupon for a 30 minute blow-out about a couple of months ago. I typically get my blow outs done at Dalleria salon in Burlington but wanted to give this salon a try. Upon booking my appointment on the phone, it took me 3 times to get through. The first time, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. I ended up hanging up and calling again. The second time the phone just kept ringing. The 3rd time I got through. I told the receptionist that I wanted to book an appt for Saturday for a blow-out and had a Groupon. The receptionist immediately said nobody can come in for a blow-out on Saturday the only day would be Friday. It appeared that she didn’t even look at the schedule. Seeing as though it was the holiday weekend and I was booking last minute, I understood what she said and told her that I would book on Friday. As I was booking the appointment, the first thing the receptionist said was that I need your credit card number information and groupon number (seeing as though I have worked in a salon, I knew exactly why she needed my credit card number). Although, my experience when giving out credit card information, is to explain upfront to the client why they need this information. After I gave her all the information she needed to book the appointment, she then proceeded to tell me that I would get fully charged for this service if I cancelled or no showed. At this point, I was a bit frustrated and just told her that I knew why she need this and would be in tomorrow for my service. Upon going to my appointment on Friday, I arrived 15 minutes early, When I arrived, I was asked to sit in the waiting area. A stylist approached me on time for the appointment. She asked me what I was hear for and took me to the sink. Upon blow drying my hair, she put in a spray (never explained what she was spraying on my hair) and started to blow dry my hair. As she was blow drying my hair, I had to tell the stylist how that I wanted my hair parted.. After the stylist was done blow drying my hair, I noticed that my hair was a bit frizzy. The stylist said that she needed to use a flat iron. I don’t typically use flat iron because they get so hot that they brake my hair. I told her this and she said that my hair was still frizzy and would be careful. The stylist also said that she put in a heat protector before she blew dried my hair (I was thinking to myself why didn’t she tell me this upfront). The stylist did offer to use a hair spray. I told her that because my hair is dry that I only use oils (e.g. monrocan oil). I noticed that the salon uses this product but the stylist never offered this or any other hair smoothing product. She only said that it was a good that I use oil on my hair. When the service was over, I gave the stylist money for a tip. I ended up waiting in line in back of 2 other people to check out. I noticed that there was a second girl at the desk just standing their and never even acknowledge me or the other client. Upon checking out , I gave the receptionist my groupon receipt. She then asked me if I tipped the stylist. I was horrified. Tipping is optional not a requirement. Because I worked in the service industry, I know better to tip people (even if the do a poor job). This was a 30 minute blow out and the fact that the salon receptionist asked me if I tip the stylist was very unprofessional. Bottom line (which was my gut instinct going into this appt), this salon did not like the fact that I had Groupon and felt like they wanted to make sure they could make as much money off of this 30 minute blow dry service. If this salon did not want to use Groupon, then they should of never signed up for this service. I will never go back to this unprofessional salon for any services.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Got the worst haircut and she left my hair damp when I paid for a blow dry. Charged me $70. I thought I was getting a refund but they took another $70 out of my account. I’ve been calling them for weeks. They keep saying they will call me back and never do. Still have not seen my refund. Now they owe me $140. I can’t even believe this customer service. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
