I’ve been coming to Ai Mei for years and leave happy every 2-3 weeks. Lucy is a wonderful sweet professional person. All the manicurists are nice and listen to what you want. I always feel comfortable when I’m there. I love the back rubs! I’d give more than 5 stars if I could Gel manicures, Pedicure

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They gave Me a fungus, and my mother. They are ALL rude especially the owner. They yell at you to make sure you tip even if you PLAN ON IT and are just taking time to get your money out. No one knows how to do acrylic nails.. and they change their staff almost every month so when you finally like someone they leave. This place is horrible I will NEVER go again. And I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Go at your own risk I was going for almost 2 years till I tried a new place. Which is when THEY (diva nails of Mineola) showed me the fungus.

This place is super cheap. They do not do a good clean on the pedicures and barely give you a massage. They always have attitudes.If you want a good pedicure go to JV NAILS SPA ON JERICHO TURNPIKE! I haven’t came back to ai mei in years and only went for emergency and not even anymore. Good ridence!

I don’t post reviews often, but I feel this was important enough to put out there. I called and made an appointment for acrylic new french set. When I arrived, i told them my appointment, i was on time. They looked at my nails, said no problem, made me wait 50 mins before I was seen. Then they tell me they have to soak off the nails instead of sanding them off. Okay, why didn’t you have me soak while I waited 50 mins after my appointment? Another 40 mins, and the girl begins my nails. Anna was quick but rough with my hands. Her table was dirty with nail clippings from the customer before me. I didn’t get cuticle oil, hand lotion, hot towel, hand rub or shoulder rub. I asked for an extra design (glitter ombre) on two nails. She did not talk often, but when she did, she was rude and tried to upsale me to do gel (which i explained i cant, it turns my skin green) or SNS, which i wont do (stick my nails in a jar of powder that everyone else with fungus or warts stick theirs into? No thank you). She scoufed, and ignored my request for the glitter which I was willing to pay extra for, then of course was talking in Chinese about me to jenny, who is stationed right next to her. She handed me the bill hoffing and puffing all the way and I paid in cash. Meantime they were cleaning up around me for the last 30 mins, including mopping my handbag that was on the floor next to me. Not even an apology, or you could have moved the bag to the now vacant seat next to me. So the owner asked if Anna took care of me. I told her I was disappointed about waiting so long to be seen when I had an appointment, but I was very unhappy about how I was treated as a customer. I explained about the attitude and lack of services I received. I was not going to argue the price of nails or soak off, but I felt I was mistreated and being rushed. There was no attention to detail and my hands were wjite chalky from sitting in acetone for 40 mins. The owner did not seem really interested and offered no resolution. She seemed okay with her staff neglecting the customers. Yuki and jenny do good work. I’ve had them do my nails in past with much better treatment. But honestly, if treating people like garbage is acceptable then I’ll take my business elsewhere. Due note: I also didn’t notice any cleaning in between customers getting pedicures , but maybe they did ??? Anna did a good job shaping the nails. It would have been worth the wait had she atleast not given an attitude or atleast did a complete service.

I like this place the last time I went they did a good job. Although the time before that the guy did not do a good job I got sns and he got some of the polish on the skin and the powder was stuck. I don’t like that they have someone start on you but leave half way and have a different person finish.
