DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE! I went for an acrylic fill and gel polish. Within hours, the polish was coming off. I gave them a chance to fix the problem, but basically was told that it wasn’t their fault that the polish was coming off. The owner of the place only made excuses and did nothing to resolve the issue. I then requested a refund, but was told that wasn’t possible. I have had my nails done for 30 years and never have experienced any problems. I now doubt that this place has any licensed nail technicians, you can be assured that I will be looking into this matter.

DO NOT go here, what a mistake I made. I needed a simple take off of acrylic nails with gel polish..it was 25.00 FOR REMOVAL!!!! Most I’ve ever paid as most places are 10 and under, but I needed them off right then..so first off they stick my hands in plastic bags full of polish remover, so my hands are dry when they just needed to do my nails..I’m then told they don’t have a drill, at a so called nail salon so I had to get my nails literally ripped and filed off along with gel polish..one of my nails literally has a hole in it from being ripped, this went on for almost 2 and a half hours and didn’t even my real nails out. I left the place with gel on my skin. This was such a horrible experience that it’s almost laughable at what a joke this place was. The girl that did them did seem to be sweet but that doesn’t make up for the fact I spent 25.00 to have thin, ripped painful nails.

Want frustration, disappointment and disgust? Then head on in to A Head of Time. My mom went in to get a perm and a trim. The perm didn’t take which is an easy thing to prove when a week later you are standing in front of the Manager of the place with nearly flat hair (spiral perm with smallest rods supposedly). She waited the requisite 48 hours before washing it and still had slight wave from a year old perm so it looked like she didn’t even have a perm at all. We also noticed that it was cut wrong – longer in front and shorter in back. My mom just wanted a gentle taper away from her face and it’s all one length to the top of her shoulders so how they managed to mess that up is beyond me. Finally, to add insult to injury when she was standing in the shop they did nothing but make excuses and with an exasperated tone and arms thrown up asked, “well what do you want me to do, do you want another perm?” Awesome customer service huh? My mom said it’s too early for another perm and ended up just leaving. My mom is not a loud person and hates to complain, she will usually just suck it up and take the hit so going back in to get them to make things right was hard for her. They should have offered her all or most of the money back, they should have apologized and told her to come back in (however many months when it would be safe to have another perm) for a free perm. They fixed the uneven cut and made excuses for shoddy work. I have more wave in my hair after braiding it wet then she had after a supposedly tight spiral perm. She won’t be back and if you are smart you won’t be either.
