Body Brushing
This body treatment is one of the most efficient ways to bring out the best of your skin. This treatment is a great addition to our Ultrasound Body Contouring or Massage services.
Body Peel
A body peel provides nourishing ingredients that soften and hydrate the skin’s surface, while improving the appearance and texture of the skin with a combination of exfoliating, smoothing, and brightening ingredients. This treatment is an excellent choice for promoting an even skin tone and clear complexion on the arms, legs, back, chest, hands, and feet.
Botox
What is Botox?Aging takes its toll on the face. Wrinkles appear, the face loses volume, and creases form where we smile and squint. Botox is the most popular injectable that address some of these signs of aging. Botox is derived from the botulinum toxin, which, when injected into a muscle in very small amounts, is able to paralyze muscle activity for a certain period of time.What does Botox treat?Botox treats facial wrinkles, crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead furrows, and skin bands commonly found on the neck. Creases and wrinkles are caused by repeated muscle contractions when we perform an action such as smiling. The botulinum toxin works by blocking the muscular nerve signals so the muscle doesn’t contract, lessening the appearance of the corresponding wrinkles.What happens during a Botox procedure?It is important for Botox to be delivered by an experienced injector since it requires extensive knowledge of facial muscle structure, along with precision and skill to achieve the desired results. The injections are delivered directly into specific facial muscles through a very thin needle. We target only the specific muscles that are responsible for wrinkling, so your natural facial expressions aren’t affected by the procedure.A Botox session only takes about 15 minutes. The number of injections needed by the patient depends on the extent of the wrinkles present and his or her facial features. For example, forehead furrows could take five or more shots while crow’s feet only require two to three.Are there risks associated with Botox injections?Like any treatment, Botox injections pose a few risks. Aside from the common side effects – minor swelling and bruising at the treated sites – there are other potential complications such as drooping eyelids, drying of the eyes or excessive tearing, crooked smile, and cockeyed eyebrows. These complications can occur if the injections are not correctly placed, which is why it is important to choose only qualified injectors to do the job.What can I expect during my recovery from Botox?There is no downtime with Botox, so you can return to work or your routine immediately after your appointment. Avoid massaging the treated areas for the first six hours after treatment, as the Botox can migrate to other unwanted areas in the face and lead to facial drooping or weakness.

Dermal Fillers & Injectables
What are dermal fillers?As we grow older, our faces sag, wrinkle, and lose volume. Aside from surgical options, there are safer, non-invasive methods that can treat such facial imperfections. These treatments include dermal fillers. Fillers consist of gel that is injected into areas of the face that have formed wrinkles or have hollowed with age. Fillers contain a substance called hyaluronic acid, which is produced naturally in the body and is responsible for hydrating the skin.How do dermal fillers work?When hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin, volume that has been lost due to aging will be restored, creating a smoother, more flawless appearance. Hyaluronic acid works by binding with water to provide further hydration to the area, helping to revitalize the skin.What are the benefits of using dermal fillers?Fillers can effectively treat deeper wrinkles. They are also biocompatible, which means there is less risk of allergic reactions and they will be absorbed by the body eventually. And, of course, dermal fillers are non-invasive with no downtime and no scarring.What areas can be treated with dermal fillers?Fillers can smooth fine lines and wrinkles, as well as create plumper lips and improve facial contour. They can also be used to enhance the cheeks and chin and revitalize the skin. Areas that commonly benefit from dermal fillers include nasolabial folds, lips, glabellar lines (the lines between the eyebrows), down-turned lips, and cheeks.What is involved during a dermal filler treatment?Before receiving your injections, your skin will be prepped and cleansed. If requested, a numbing cream may be applied to keep you comfortable during the injections. Filler will then be injected into the areas of your face that need treatment. Patients can normally return to work or their routine immediately after treatment.What happens after my dermal filler treatment?As with any other procedure that involves injections, it is possible to experience some bruising and swelling at the injection sites. To ease these symptoms, you may apply a cold compress to the area or apply some arnica cream. Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair RemovalWhat is laser hair removal?Is there a reason you’re still dealing with the hassles of waxing, plucking, and shaving unwanted hair on your body? After all, laser hair removal can effectively get rid of unwanted hair permanently. The laser beam targets the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, which damages the follicle enough to retard future hair growth. For some patients, the hair is removed permanently, for others hair doesn’t regrow for years.What are the benefits of laser hair removal?Laser hair removal is one of the most popular treatments at Ageless Medical Spa. It effectively removes unwanted hair from the legs, arms, underarms, face, bikini line, and other areas of the body. The laser precisely targets dark, coarse hair, leaving the neighboring skin unharmed. Treatment is fast; hairs in a particular area can be treated in only a fraction of a second. The treatment creates permanent hair reduction after three to five sessions.How will I prepare for my laser hair removal appointment?Before undergoing the procedure, you will need to avoid waxing, plucking, and electrolysis for about six weeks prior to your appointment. Hair roots, which are the primary targets of laser beams during treatment, are temporarily removed with these hair removal methods. It is also important to avoid sun exposure six weeks prior to and after treatment, as it makes the procedure less effective and puts you at risk for complications. It is important to shave the area within 24 hrs of your appointment. If you forget to shave and the hair growth is too long, your appointment will be rescheduled.What happens during my laser hair removal treatment?Our aesthetician will then adjust the settings on the laser equipment based on your skin type, color, and the location and thickness of your hair. Eye protection is provided.A topical cold gel will be applied or a special cooling device will be used to help the laser beam penetrate deep into the skin. Once your skin is prepped, the laser technician will deliver a pulse of light into the treatment site and monitor your skin for any unusual reactions. The treatment will then proceed until the entire site is treated.What can I expect after my laser hair removal session?Once the procedure is completed, ice packs and anti-inflammatory creams will be applied to alleviate any discomfort. For a day or two, you may feel as if your skin is sunburned. The sunburned feeling can be eased by applying moisturizers and cool compresses. If the treatment involved your face, you may apply makeup the next day, unless your skin is blistering.When will I notice the results from laser hair removal?A month after treatment, the treated hair will start falling off. It is important that you wear sunscreen during this period to avoid any temporary changes in your skin color at the treated sites. Although rare, patients with darker skin colors may experience blisters on the treated areas.You may be advised to undergo a follow-up session after four to six weeks.
