I’ve been seeing Shemika for about 10 months now. She really helped me to get my skin back on track. I was struggling with acne, redness, and using too many harsh products on my face. You have to be patient and trust the process but it’s all worth it at the end. I’d definitely recommend her to anybody that wants some help with their skin. My sister also started seeing her recently and she’s seeing great improvement in her skin.

I had my first facial ever here in February & just had a follow up facial and microdermabrasion yesterday. Let me just say Mika is AMAZING. In the two months since getting the first facial I tried a new skin product and my skin got so angry. Mika evaluated my skin and told me what to do going forward. It is literally 24 hours after my visit and my skin is already so much calmer. I have another visit in a month and I am super excited to see the results I’ll get following her regimen and consistent appointments.

So I have good and bad things to say about my experience here. Let’s start with the good things: Shemika is very nice, her space is very clean and her facial was great, she even gave me an amazing foot massage. Now the bad things (my experience): I bought a Classic facial on Groupon for $53. When she analyzed my skin she offered me an upgrade for acne treatment for $30 more. I had no idea about the prices so I accepted. I only have light acne on my cheeks, especially now wearing masks all the time. When I got home I checked the Groupon again and the Facial for acne was $60, not even $10 more than the Classic. Another thing is I bought a cleanser kit (she also sells really hard, so keep that in mind), the kit was $38.50, with the upgrade and the kit she should charge me 68.50. When I got home I saw that I was charged $74, she didn’t inform me the total, only got my credit card info and charged it. My visit for an hour facial cost me about $100 with tips, not including the kit. I feel like for a facial it was a lot and I believe I was ripped off. That is the only reason I won’t go back. I do believe she is knowledgeable, but it wasn’t worth the money.
