This business may be as good as advertised but my wife will never know. While true that we waited too long to use a gift certificate, Afterglow would not offer the courtesy of extending the expiration date a day or two so she could have a manicure. As an independent local business, there is no reason to be so rigid. Additionally, my wife placed a number of calls over the last 10 days and wasn’t able to speak with anyone or schedule an appointment. These are disappointing developments for a salon she was interested in trying. Definitely recommend one look elsewhere based substandard customer service.

I had given up on salons in Frankfort until I got recommendations for this one. Bobby was amazing! He listened to what I wanted. He could tell I was nervous due to previous bad experiences but quickly made me feel at ease. I honestly can’t wait to go back and switch things up with color next time!

I got a facial and pedicure. Both the girls were extremely friendly. I must say I have had some issues with Polish on my cuticles both on my feet and when I went back and got gel polish put on my fingers. As far as my facial, she did a lovely job. But my skin has been extremely oily ever since then. I do have another facial booked and will speak to both girls about issues on my next visit. I think they will make a right. I hope they do I really like this salon and would love to start going regularly.

Critical: QualityHate to give the salon a low rate but my beat friend who has the prettiest hair went in & had a highlight service done. Shes already blonde (dirty blonde) and the stylist did the foil high light and it came out copper colored .Friend was SO upset with the outcome so she went back next day and had it done once again and still the copper is there and remained nnoticeable…Not thrilled with first or second attempt so another totally different salon has to fix their mess up . Not going to put the young ladies name on blast but I definitely wouldn’t recommend them .. Sorry for beng honest.
