The barbers at After Shave are a couple of awesome dudes as well as their clients. My son has down syndrome and is autistic and might I add, hates having his hair washed as well as brushed. I have been here twice and will be back within a week to get his hair cut again. They are good at what they do and are very patient. I recommend this place if your child is special needs and very spicy when it comes to getting a hair cut.

I was torn at first. I usually go to a salon for my haircuts because they typically get the style right. After Shave Barbershop ended up turning out better than expected. They have a nice sport themed interior with updated furniture and point you to three TVs so you can relax as you’re getting your haircut. A bonus was that the chairs were super comfy too. When it came to cutting my hair I do admit there were times when I didn’t feel super confident it was going to turn out well, like the line up around my ears being way higher than I would have liked. My barber also put hair gel in my hair without asking first, which I greatly disliked because I usually avoid putting products in my hair. Finally, when it came to trimming the top/sides, i don’t know if it were his scissors that were dull but it was super uncomfortable and felt like he was ripping out my hair. Nonetheless, the way the cut/style turned out was fantastic and super happy with the look 🙂

I take my sons here to get fresh cuts and they always do a great job. My one son has very curly hair and we haven’t had much luck anywhere else getting his just right, but they do a great job. We won’t take them anywhere else now.
