So I was nervous about how the experience would be and how my hair would turn out, but Shonna is a Jewel she made me feel so comfortable with my hair due to me having some traction alopecia and thinning in some areas. I felt so relaxed , by the time she was done I didn’t even realize it and I was looking stunning at that. I had such a wonderful experience. This was my first time back in a salon chair in 3yrs. So I was nervous about how the experience would be and how my hair would turn out, but Shonna is a Jewel she made me feel so comfortable with my hair due to me having some traction alopecia and thinning in some areas. Plus all the youtube suggestions I tried had only made the situation worse. This was hospital hair mixed with hospital glue that had been knotted over the course of a month+. Shonna saved a ton of hair, took the time (7+ hours) to work it out to get it a good length. Despite having had long long hair for 20 years and being very nervous about going semi-short, Shonna calmed my nerves the whole way through and I ended up with a cut that looks AMAZING! I LOVE, absolutely love, my hair again. It’s even better than my long hair that I was afraid to loose and having someone who had the motivation and patience to deal with disaster hair and make it beautiful made this transition and healing process so much better! This was hospital hair mixed with hospital glue that had been knotted over the course of a month+. Shonna saved a ton of hair, took the time (7+ hours) to work it out to get it a good length.
