Want a great experience? Do these 3 things: CHECK PRICES BEFOREHAND, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, & BE ON TIME! This place is amazing and the barbers are incredibly talented. I’ve been coming for years and it seems to me people who leave bad reviews typically don’t do at very least 2 of the 3 actions above that would prevent a less than stellar experience.

“L” was cool, I called early in the morning for a same day haircut, he told me to come in and he would take care of my sons haircut. When we got there it was a few minute wait but then he took care of him right away. He asked how I wanted the haircut and did it the way I asked. I appreciate his time and work. We will go back. Thank you!

I drove about 20 miles to get a nice hair cut at a black barbershop being that there aren’t any in my area. I haven’t had the best experience at black barbershops because of the customer service, but I give every place a fair shot. Most readers already know what I mean. Anyways, I wasn’t greeted (typical I know) but it gets worse. I was treated as if it was my privilege to be served there (typical I know) but it gets worse. I was cut by the barber at the end on the left hand side. I had a headache that day and the barber was talking very loudly behind me, making it worse. I simply asked him if he could bring it down a bit. I got cursed out, threatened, and retaliated against. He said “No one tells me what to do”. He rushed through the cut, edging me up all rough, while going back and forth with me because he angry about my request. Usually if you’re providing a service, you want to make your client feel as comfortable as possible. I wasn’t asking for wine and a massage, I was just asking the barber to bring the yelling down a bit because I had a headache. The saddest part is that I was blantantly being disrespected by this barber and none of the other barbers checked him, they just offered me their cards on the low, and the manager apologized and offered me a discount after cut was over, but said nothing while this was happening. It’s clear that they put up with this unprofessional and abusive conduct because the manager said it happened to someone else too. Discounts and down low apologies aren’t the solution. This barber needs to be removed from that shop or other new customers who spend their hard earned money on a cut may run the risk of dealing with innapropriate/abusive behavior and substandard service. Absolute worst experience at a barbershop. Never going back.

Kind of the old school barbershop vibe. Good conversation ranging from , religion to politics to sport and beyond. Always good for a good belly laugh.Marco and Jermaine (co-owners) are great people and excellent barbers. Been going to them for over 20 years even before they opened Afros & Fades.

Great girl cut!! Love my hair. Did wait for a minute because I did not note that I was a walk in. But the owner Jermaine apologized for the error. Was very friendly and immediately escorted me to an open barber Richard. Who did an excellent job – best cut I’ve had in a while. Will certainly continue to go there again.

Got my hair done by Moe Beasley and it was worth the time and the drive. Not only was he friendly, warm, and professional, but the brother is a Master Barber. It is rare to find a barber who is friendly, engaging, intelligent, and great at his craft. I am orinally from ATL where the barber game is cut throat. This is the best barber experience I have witnessed since coming to Cali 12 years ago. I highly recommend Brotha Beasley!!!
