I called the business to see if there was still located on North Claiborne and she had a very nasty attitude on the phone she picked the phone up and she hung up then she called me back and say I hung up on her if she is in business she needs to close down because her attitude is degrading to people. Came to the salon. Owner was more concerned about my transportation. Then giving me service told me she was booked no openings though salon was COMPLETELY empty. I told her she had less than positive reviews and I be adding one. After locking the door in my face she had the time to reopen it to use foul language to address my statement. Then told me f*** y** as I was leaving. Any 5 stars she receives it on the days she must be interested in running a business.

The braids were loose and messy my real hair was not fully in the braids she was on the phone the whole time . The stylist refused to pay me my money back . I’m a hair braider myself and I know when and how braids are supposed to look . They were loose and hair in some areas was pulled into another braid . The stylist even tried to get me to keep those old looking braids she had just done that day in and do the front myself I will never go to another African salon again . I’m very unhappy about not getting my money and wasted my braiding hair and cab money never again

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE got my hair braided here in February and it was a dam mess looked like stevie wonder braided my hair i paid 230 she wouldn’t give me a refund or do it correctly than she have a nasty attitude PERIOD i dont even thibk she has a license to do hair she didn’t even have hot water she used a heat plate to warm the water she complained about taking my sew in out before doing my braids place is horrible just like her!!!!!

This is the worst braiding salon anyone could ever spend their money in the lady Chantel Waters has a very bad understanding and she can’t even braid right my braids came out the very next day I wouldn’t Recommend her business to anyone but I have filed a complaint with the,state against her she is not even liscened and is under investigation
