Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueFAST BRAIDERS, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! WASTE OF MONEY!!I came for a Walk-In for waist length box braids. I paid up-front and sat down in the chair. I asked the lady to “PLEASE LEAVE MY EDGES OUT!!” I’m tender-headed and styling my hair really tight causes sores (and I informed her of this). She agreed to leave my edges out. She did NOT! I reminded her twice. Seemingly to be entertained by my discomfort, while stray hairs kept ending up in the braid she was working on, she would just tear away at the loose strands of hair. Yes, you read that right. THIS WOMAN RIPPED MY HAIR OUT!! She should’ve taken her time to part my hair and worked more diligent and careful.I WILL NOT BE BACK!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND THESE PEOPLE TO ANYONE!! She braided my baby-hair into the braids which is a MAJOR CAUSE of hair loss!! It was a horrible experience and WASTE OF MONEY!! I have to get prescription antibacterial cream for my scalp to stop the iritation. This wouldn’t be an issue if they could FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS to meet customer request… In addtion to that, after 2 days I was forced to take the braids out (around my edges) to stop the constant pulling and discomfort associated with daily activities.If you’re interested in LOSING YOUR HAIR, this is a great place to get your hair done.Services: Hairstyling, Box Braids, Braids, Hair extensionsFAST BRAIDERS, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Critical: Quality, ValueTERRIBLE!!!! paid $200 dollars for box braids. Literally sat there ALL day from 9:30-4:30. EXTREMELY SLOW braider. THEN ONCE DONE, notice my braids were unraveling because she did NOT tie my ends before dipping it in water. Called them back and they were NOT helpful. Only tried to assure me my braids would not come undone EVEN after i told her they were already coming undone!!! Instead of saying come back Now so that we can exit to your liking especially being that I paid $200 for this mess. She tells me to come back in two days and if it is undone they will fix it. This was my first time going to the shop and I last! I generally go to a different shop where they has amazing service and do a wonderful job however because of time constraints today I just went to try this shop. Boy was that a mistake! Never again! TERRIBLE!!!! paid $200 dollars for box braids. Literally sat there ALL day from 9:30-4:30. EXTREMELY SLOW braider. THEN ONCE DONE, notice my braids were unraveling because she did NOT tie my ends before dipping it in water. Called them back and they were NOT helpful. Only tried to assure me my braids would not come undone EVEN after i told her they were already coming undone!!! Critical: QualityI made an appointment with them a week in advance. I get there early with other people as well. I already told them ahead of time what style I wanted and that I had an appointment. My appointment was suppose to be at 9:30, so about 15-20 minutes all the other workers come in and there sitting other people down at their stations to start braiding hair. All except me. They told me somebody was coming for me to do my hair. So I waited patiently. Now it’s around 10:30 and I ask what’s going on. They tell me can I come back another day after waiting an hour for someone to do my hair. Mind you I drove an hour to get there. I was very upset. I made an appointment with them a week in advance. I get there early with other people as well. I already told them ahead of time what style I wanted and that I had an appointment. My appointment was suppose to be at 9:30, so about 15-20 minutes all the other workers come in and there sitting other people down at their stations to start braiding hair. All except me. Showed the lady the braids I wanted. She then tells me that I had to wait while she did somebody else who had no appointment.
